This cafe is now known as The Knowes. It has new ownership. We really enjoyed our lunch. The cafe is pleasant and staff friendly. A lovely atmosphere. Beautiful cakes. Will definitely go back.

Very pleasant, busy so you might not get an ideal table but they are always friendly. Food well presented and tasty. Baked potatoes, sandwiches and soup really good.

I go there every weekend with my mum dad and two sisters amazing and comfortable with even better cakes and bacon rolls 10/10 would recommend

Nice cafe staff pleasant and friendly good coffee lovely scones and dog friendly just nice after a long walk by the river. please remember be nice be respectful as these people work very hard manors cost nothing 10/10 👍👌🥧☕

They make excellent coffee which I have always had as a takeout. The place itself well deserves a visit and will be making a trip to have a sit down for some breakfast soon enough.

A lovely little cafe. Menu was excellent, and the quality of home-made food lived up to expectations. Most of the staff were very helpful but the owner (or manager) was definitely a bit snippy. This certainly didn't spoil a lovely lunch but was noticeable.

Friendly place with decent food and a good spread of cakes. The decor / building might appear to be not quite high end but don't be mistaken, it's a nice place to hang out. Good fruit based lunch for the kids too and the staff are always cheerful.
