If you want freshly cooked to order fish and chips this is the place to go. The best fish and chips I have had in this area in a long time. The batter is perfectly crispy, not to greasy and fish perfectly cooked. The slice of lemon is a great touch. Chips were freshly cooked and hot even by the time we got home. Service was friendly and great. Overall the experience was perfect.
What's not to love?! It's hot, it's fresh, it's tasty and the chips are fab!! There is a reason why there's a queue and why they've been voted the best 👌🏼

Went to this chippy for the first time last week and it was amazing! Great food & great staff. I’ve never been to a chippy where all the staff are so polite and friendly. 5/5. Will be visiting again soon
Took the family for some delicious take away. Fish was fresh, chips were hot and thoroughly enjoyed the battered sausage! Staff were friendly, polite with a good sense of humor. Parking can be tight, but food was delicious! Definitely worth the effort.
Great simple burger. Less then others charge too. Cheese n onion pastie..not many do anymore. Yum. Only down side was my daughters kids drink was broken and leaked..had to empty into cup after I wiped carpet clean.. I pre ordered by phone, May aswell have not pre ordered as wasnt any faster
Plan in advance, I was waiting for my son, who was at a youth club, and I decided to try out this establishment after a recommendation. I only had an hour spare and 40 minutes in a long queue. The food was excellent, and I can see why it is so popular and the long lines. Literally, when I arrived, people were queueing towards the pub. I have never seen anything like it, but it was worth the wait, and I ordered, ate my food and got back in time to pick my son up, next time if I'm short on time, I will make a telephone order to save time, if I have time id be happy to queue for quality food.
I've been going here for quite a few years . Fish and chips are fantastic , fish cooked while you wait. Only downside is that it can get very busy on a Friday evening.

Best Fish & Chips for miles around!
Had haddock and chips from here. The staff are great always keeping you informed how long your food is going to take to cook. The food was delicious.
We've used these guys a few times now, fish and chips are always fresh, fish and chips are fried separately from other items as well which is a bonus.
Only comment is can you do bigger sauce pots, i.e. large curry sauce in a larger pot maybe?
Staff are all lovely, and constantly on their feet - not had any bad food from them yet.

Best fish n chips and kebabs. Queuing is worth the wait or call up before if you are in a rush. The fish has definitely got smaller the large doesn't look like a large!

Food is of a good quality and good portions. Good selection and always cooked fresh.
Only issue is it gets really busy on Friday and Saturday so get there early.

Great fish and chip shop. Owner can be grumpy some days, but the rest of the staff are efficient and extremely competent at there Jobs. Most importantly, great fish and chips.
I’m unfamiliar with the area and encouraged by the great reviews I gave this chippy a try. I was not disappointed. The batter is divine. Chips are lush. Curry sauce is delish. I’d definitely go back.

Reasonably priced and can take telephone orders in advance.
Can be a bit greasy at busy times as not enough time to drain, but this is suffered by all Fish Shops.
