This place has a nice atmosphere and was quite busy when we visited however our food arrived fairly quickly. I had chicken strips and cheesy garlic bread that came with a generous side salad. Our food was very nice and all staff that interacted with us were friendly.
We booked a table for 15 on Sunday 6 August for a birthday party. Every member of staff was very supportive from booking the table on the phone to serving us on that day. The assistant manager, Chris, is amazing. He is very polite to us and all his customers; making the birthday mum felt welcome
As always the breakfast never disappoints, and the mega pints of coke wash it down nicely.
The staff are always friendly and welcoming. And it's always good to have a catch up with Heather when she not being rushed off her feet.
Great carvery, as well as the rest of the menu being very good and well priced. The cakes are absolutely massive and really nice too.
It has a kids' area to keep them entertained.

Very surprised at the quality of the food, the desserts were absolutely amazing
Very nice day and food lovely, just little slow on service. But over all good.
Food was tasty (I had the mini lunch carvery!), though we never got our desserts. Luckily Chris, the legendary assistant manager, sorted it out without quibble and even provided cake as an apology. No complaints from me!
Initially went here due to another carvery being fully booked, have to admit however we won't use anywhere else now. The food is really good, multiple options not just carvery and the atmosphere is very good.
