Nice place with homey made breakfasts. Kids will love the milkshakes, for adults the Chai Lattes.
Benedict Egg with Cumberland Sausage was sublime.

Great breakfast or lunch spot. The food is fantastic, staff really friendly and accommodating, and some really unusual drinks on the menu if you fancy a change from coffee. (The beetroot chai latte is delicious). Not super accessible due to stairs to get to a lot of the seating but fine for pushchairs etc. high chairs also available.

I would highly recommend this little cafe!
The staff gave our four legged friend the best welcome!
Food was absolutely delicious! The best leek and potato soup I’ve ever had!
I’d also recommend the Avocado and Garlic Special!
Will definitely be visiting again! 😁

Brew brothers - Kendal
Short review : Great place for coffee and breakfast at Kendal city centre. Pet friendly.
Detailed review: A local from Kendal recommended this restaurant for it's coffee and all day breakfast. This place is quite popular, so the queue will vary depending on what time one is visiting.
The regular latte was alright. Maybe the next time I would go for the smaller size instead.
Our egg Benedict was interestingly wholesome. We went for the light bite Hot smoked salmon on toasted sourdough which was unique as it had wilted spinach, bacon and poached eggs on a layer of cooked smoked salmon with siracha hollandaise and pea shoot dressing. Egg florentine plus royale with a good siracha punch.
The service was quick despite it being reasonably crowded and the servers were friendly.
Pleasant ambience, comfortable seating.
Open on Sundays.

Really nice breakfast. Only place, other than Greg's or McDonald's, open this early (as far as I could see.)
Not cheap, but top quality and very well prepared and presented, so in that sense good value. Friendly, efficient service.

A little expensive for what you get, breakfast was nice, bacon a little too well done for me but I still ate it all! Milky Way brownie and the raspberry blondie were lovely. Very dog friendly which we loved

The breakfasts were great but actually not too sure about the coffee. Went for the strongest but lacked some depth and flavour. The atmosphere was great though and the staff pleasant.

My annual trip up north is split by a stop in Kendal for coffee. My favourite place has unfortunately closed permanently however Brew Brothers will most likely see me again on the way back down South.
Matty was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu had quite the variety however a classic scrambled eggs on sourdough was the perfect choice. Good flat white.
Paid parking a five minute walk away.

I had a pulled pork sandwich, iced latte and a can of coke. It was super busy but staff helped me to find a seat and stayed calm and polite even though they were rushed off their feet. The place was clean and the food was nice.

The food was simply incredible. As a vegetarian options can sometimes be limited at independent cafes, but that was certainly not the case here! I had so many options to choose from and I’ll definitely be back to work my way through them. The service was brilliant! Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
