Really great find. Rooms are very well decorated and to a high standard with nice views of the countryside. The staff are all nice and very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend this for a great place to see with the lake District just a short distance away.

The venue is very nice and relaxed. The food was fresh and tasty. But the main attraction has to be the view from the balcony. Eating alfresco was a real joy, and combined with the friendly staff made our first visit very enjoyable. We will defiantly be returning.

We came here for the night on our way up to Scotland from London. Though it was a brief stay, we were so impressed by the attentiveness and friendliness of the team, the pretty views and the quality of the rooms and food. We will certainly be coming again - next time for a longer stay.
Excellent stay. The food was exceptional and cant be recommended enough. The staff are all brilliant, friendly and invested in making your stay as good as possible. Hope it stays a hidden gem so we can easily book again but want it to be a real success for the family and team there.

Beautiful inn serving excellent food. We arrived after Sunday lunch had finished being served, but we were accommodated and the roast beef dinner was superb. Views across the Lyth Valley from the dining room are spectacular. Well worth a visit if you're in the Lakes.
Such a lovely place to stay, brilliant service really nice food. Informative about places to visit whilst your there. Rooms are lovely, tidy and modern. The views are gorgeous. Will be back next year for a longer stay ☺️
