Watermill Inn & Windermere Brewing Co - Kendal - Photo album

Wow! What a fabulous place. Beautiful location for walkers, cyclists, drivers, dog lovers.......anyone. Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Sadly we didn't have an evening meal or beers due to our family arrangements. But, breakfast was plentiful and deli
Recently visited as a group of 9 and had a fantastic time. I had booked a table several weeks before and had great contact. We received a warm welcome and great service. All the group enjoyed their meals and we had puddings before the kitchen closed. All washed down with a selection of brilliant bee
Trying to find a place for a nice family meal with easy access on a Monday evening in the area around Windermere is something of a challenge. We came upon the Watermill Inn by happy accident and enjoyed six lovely meals (inc two children's meals) and had great service. Despite it being a very wet ra
Stopped off for a bite to eat as it came up as dog friendly. Not at all disappointed, dog welcomed, did not feel out of place, even provided treats and fuss. Food and drink were both top notch, highly recommend!
Great dog friendly pub with some great tasting ales. This is a proper nice dog friendly dog. There were more that tolerated but welcomed which is great. Lots of bowls of water available and biscuits on the bar. We will definately be back for another visit when passing. Also a great clean pub with ch
Excellent food, fast service, busy, friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location for me stating in B&B across the road but it's out of the main town on the main road. Highly recommended.
Love this place, room lovely and clean with a terrace. Food excellent plus beer good to. Definitely be coming back. Staff so friendly and helpful. Can't say a bad word about this place.
We stayed nearby and had two visits for drinks and food. Only negative would be lack of craft ales. Otherwise a great selection of drinks including cask ales brewed on site. Their own lager was quite hoppy which was a plus for me. The food menu was basic and the prices a bit toppy to that end, howev
We have just been for a meal there and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals we've ever had (watermill chicken is divine!) Lovely staff too! Will be back
Ages since I was last here - only a 20 minute stroll from Staveley. It’s so welcoming some pubs open at 11:00am to allow for a mid day pint. So much choice here and they’re all brewed on site. I had the Blonde - a great pint for my midway stop.
Stayed for a night so we could go hiking nearby the following day. Modern rooms with useful facilities (USB-C sockets, a lamp with a switch you can reach...it's the little things) and comfy bed. We ate when we got there and enjoyed it also. We'll be back!
The strategy for efficient service is impeccable. the quality and quantity of the food is awesome. I lost phase with reality when making a second order at the bar and it required several moments to remember what i wanted. I don't regret eating here after a 5 hour drive!
