Low Sizergh Barn Tea Room - Kendal - Photo album

Recently stayed here in our caravan for a few days, very friendly owner who is on hand if you need anything, a working farm with cows 🐄 which you can watch being milked & sheep 🐑. Lovely dog walks around & close to lots of great places to visit. The cafe serves a great selection of food & is very po
Lovely farm shop with raw milk vending machines outside. The shop also has a cafe and sells ice cream and there is a nice walking trail around the farm. Parking is easy too as they have a large car park. I visit this place regularly to buy raw milk - there are two vending machines that appear to be
We had a great afternoon at the farm shop and café, despite some varying weather. We started off by wandering through the shop, which had so many choices and so many good things we wanted to buy. We opted to stop at the cheese counter, and have loved both cheeses we bought. We then went to the café,
Interesting farm trail, good explanations of organic/sustainable farming, very friendly staff, excellent food and crafts, if a bit pricey. A wasp sting picked up while eating at outside tables, was quickly treated by very helpful staff. An excellent find despite the wasp.
We recently stayed here on their campsite and we highly recommend! Really clean facilities and perfect views. The Farm Shop and Cafe have everything we needed and their breakfasts and breakfast rolls are incredible! This was our 2nd time here and will certainly be back again!
This place is amazing, can watch the cattle being milked and buy fresh milk, if that's your thing. Great country farm shop and gifts, including local produce and gins etc. But the cafe upstairs is an absolute must. Best quality food breakfast I think I have ever had!
Interesting use of old farm buildings in a spectacular setting. Whilst the dining experience was 5 star the gift shop area was too small for a good old 'mooch'.
Found this little farm shop while out exploring the area. Wonderful little shop with a good selection. Cafe is fab, has a good choice of food and we had some of the best cheese scones I've ever had! Was great being able to see the cows being milked from the cafe.
Interesting stopover. Unexpected big farm shop. Loads of staff employed wich is an interesting aspect in farm business. Apparently you can watch the cows being milked while having a coffee. Loved the compost made with bracken and wool. (Turning a problem (bracken) and wool (not profitable anymore w
Excellent farmshop and café in a very handy location just off the M6. High quality range of local produce in a very picturesque setting. Teabread with cheese and local butter just wonderful. Quiche looked amazing too. Really good deli selling delicious scotch eggs and cheese, in particular!
Lovely, picturesque farm shop/cafe. Came solely to buy a few local products. Excellent range of certain items, especially the cheese counter and jams. However, fresh produce was sorely lacking on the day we came. Certain prices were incredibly expensive, even compared to local farm shops near by. Wo
Really good! Lovely food, plenty of choice, a viewing gallery in the cafe of the milking parlour (3:30pm each day), lots of choice of food and gifts in the shop. It's well worth a visit.
Loved it. It was a bright sunny day. You can eat outside or inside. The view behind the main building is great.
One of the best farm shops we visited in the lake district. Great selection of local products. The milk vending machine is a fun touch and kids love watching the cows be milked at 3pm.
Great place to pick up some sausages, chutney, bread, cheese, fudge, and meet some spunky chicken on a walk.
Just amazing raw milk & farm shop. The taste was amazing. You can buy glass/plastic bottles inside. £2 for the 1litre glass bottle and I think less than a pound for the plastic one. Then Go back outside for the most amazing organic milk! You can watch them get milked around 3. It also looks like th
Quality of food is superb and staff very professional and polite at all times well worth a visit.
Great farm shop with a good array of quality food and gifts for sale. The café is especially good, with great tasting food, generous portions and an excellent view of the milking parlour. You can watch the cows being milked every day at 3.30 pm!
On the way to South Lakes, purchase quality local food and enjoy lunch at Cafe. On the return, to purchase local food gifts. Very nice!
