This is a really lovely place to visit. We found it by chance on our way home from The Lakes. There's a lovely little gift shop, a great cafe, a farm trail and if you go in the afternoon, you can see the cows being milked. Highly recommend.

Very nice little place. Food is great and service is fast. Shop is a bit on the pricey side but that's to be expected. We loved the milk vending machine 😁

Visited here on Easter Bank Holiday was expecting very little to be available as it was 14:30 the cows were about to be milked and it was wet. Delighted that they had hot food available and the salmon quiche I had was great. My wife had a sandwich and soup combo which she was delighted with. Atmosphere was good with children being able to watch the milking of the cows from some of the tables. We visited again on the Wednesday at breakfast time. Great warm scone and breakfast roll well received before our journey back from the Lakes. I would recommend this to most people and a visit to the farm shop below as well.

Very lovely farm shop and cafe. Right in the country side with lovely scenery near by. Product range in the farm shop is great. The coffee is nice and strong. The cakes are ok, the home made jam is awesome. It is dog friendly outside but your can't take them in the cafe which is a shame as most people arriving seemed to have a pet with them following what I can assume was a walk in the lakes. If pet friendly 5* as it's not. The options available outside weren't as great

Gorgeous farm with a lovely selection of produce (and cheese! So much cheese....! ) they sell raw milk if you're into that and if you're lucky you can see the cows getting milked just outside the shop. There's also a little fairy walk nearby if you like to experience the countryside. Definitely recommend popping in if you're going past and grabbing some supplies for self catering!

Recently stayed here in our caravan for a few days, very friendly owner who is on hand if you need anything, a working farm with cows πŸ„ which you can watch being milked & sheep πŸ‘. Lovely dog walks around & close to lots of great places to visit. The cafe serves a great selection of food & is very popular, the shop sells local produce along with a wide selection of gifts, great place to visit & stay with good facilities for camping of caravans.

Had lunch here on a Saturday recently. Food and coffee were both good, but service wasn't that great ... One of our food orders got lost, and we weren't the only ones. Tables could have done with getting cleared and cleaned and though, overall, they were quite busy, one or two of the staff were hanging around not doing a lot. Mid-week visits earlier in the year were great, so it seems like they just weren't as organised with the weekend staff on. Don't let that put you off though. It's a nice cafe in a lovely spot, just needs a bit of improvement here and there.
