Quite authentic Thai foods. Panang curry & Green curry is very nice. They have wine & alcohol drinks. Nice place, nice atmosphere. Quite crowded even on Monday night, so if you come in big group, better reserve.
We got a table without reservation on Saturday but the place was almost full. We were served by a male waiter in first floor who was lovely. Almost everything we ordered tasted very good and well spiced except Thai green curry. It was bland but fried rice, noodles and desserts were great.
I came across Bangkok 7 Thai restaurant while looking around Kendal at the end of my first week away in the Lake District. This restaurant stood out from everyone else and what a lovely decor this Thai restaurant has. The staff were friendly, professional, smart, clean and helpful. The food was very well prosented and tasted so much better than it looked.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to all locals and visitors to the Lake District. The best meal I've eaten this week and wished that this restaurant was in London where I live.
Toilet was spotless too.
I ate here with a friend.
10/10
Randomly found this place..at the center of the town. Pleasantly surprised as we were not quite sure what to expect.
The food was spectacular and delicious. We enjoyed every part of our visit. The ambience was stunning.
Staffs were very helpful served our food within 10mins after we ordered our food as we were in hurry to catch the train.
I would absolutely recommend a visit.
It was so refreshing to try something new. We did have dietary requirements/allergies that meant the menu was limited but the food we ordered was lovely and full of flavour.
Pictures: Chicken Massaman curry, Panang curry, chicken Pad preow wan.
Absolutely loved it! I recommend it with confidence 😊 do yourself a favour and try the beef panang curry and the chicken green curry ❤️
Very nice Thai restaurant with beautiful interior and lovely food. Nice service and staff. Probably one of the nicest Thai meals in the last couple of years. Looking forward to coming back
It's been quite a while since we've eaten at Bangkok 7, booked a table on Saturday evening early at 18.30, arrived to find very busy as normal, I'd say one of the busiest places in town, ideally located directly in the centre of town... It's not somewhere we go regularly due to the high prices, however that makes it more special when visiting... Started off with the sharing platter, which gives a great selection of the starters on offer, without being over powered... For mains green curry, and the weeping tiger, which I've had before, and seemed very different to last time I recall, however really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and the evening, looking forward to next time already 🥰
The best Thai restaurant in England is here🤩
Staff are very friendly
Food is very delicious
Very nice restaurant and clean
This place is slap bang in the middle of Kendal, it looks quite small from the outside but step inside and you are transported quite literally to Thailand, the setting is quite stunning with Buddhist statues and gold and black all over the walls, floors and ceiling, it shines utter class, the food was exquisite, everything just delivered. We had the special set menu for 2 and I must make it clear you get a lot of food for this. So much its really challenging to finish but we managed, I tried some new things like squid which was my favourite and morgaeng for dessert. When this pudding hit my table I was a little underwhelmed but let me tell you when the first mouthful went down I was really surprised it was delicious, a little bit stodgy after eating all the other courses but it was an excellent way to finish a meal. The price for the amount of food we got was reasonable but I would suggest to maybe think about your choice beforehand as less to eat would have been nicer in our case but still everything tasted awesome and I am so glad we booked to eat here
