The Bristly Hog - Kendal - Photo album

Great coffee and food in a really friendly environment. The breakfasts are really good in both quality and value. Could hardly be more dog friendly as they brought us water, a biscuit and a mat for our black Labrador to sit on. The toilets are clean and pleasant
Best customer service we've ever received. Very attentive staff. They went out their way to welcome our dog providing water, a blanket and a biscuit. Really delicious food too! We'd recommend the pulled pork Yorkshire wrap and bacon brie panini.
Central cafe in the main shopping street, close to the bus station with easy access. Good choices available including a range of cakes, scones and breads with a variety of fillings. I had an open sandwich with pulled pork which came with a side salad/crisps.
Lovely cafe, really friendly staff that couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend. Great choice on the menu. I had fruit scones with jam and clotted cream, partner had the American pancakes and son had the all day breakfast which they even kept warm for him as he had to pop out to answer
From the second we walked in the staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us or our dogs. Strong latte’s were the best we’ve had all week and the scones were to die for. Would highly recommend. Definitely go again when next in Kendal.
The BEST place in Kendal for breakfast. No other place quite matches Bristly Hogs breakfasts. Definitely recommend. I’m from kendal and do go quite often just to get a breakfast & a coffee. Lovely. Friendly staff too. Plenty of seating upstairs or down.
Wonderful cafe! We stopped and had lattes, tea, crumpets, tea cake and traybakes between us and all were amazing. Staff were lovely and attentive and wonderful with our pooches. Would definitely recommend 🤩👌
This is how an eaterie and coffee house should be run. The staff were all very friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was beautifully cooked and presented . Will be using The Bristly Hog in future visits to Kendal which are frequent.
Great coffee options (v60 and Cafetiere). Friendly staff and quick service. Great vegetarian and gluten free options.
Lovely smoothies and tasty tray bake - which was big enough to share! Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming too. Our biggest issue was that people were allowed to smoke on the tables outside and, as the doors were open, we had to endure the smell inside which wasn't pleasant.
