Fantastic guys. Been working in the yard outside for last 7 days and always chatty so thought I'd pop in for some breakfast. Food was lovely and coffee is fantastic. Atmosphere inside is really nice. Ideal for a coffee with mates or a quick lunch. Or to sit down with laptop and do some work. Highly recommend the pancakes.

A wonderful hidden gem ! We have been wanting to come for a while and were lucky enough to catch a table . I had the thai pork burger special which was the best burger I have ever had. Full of flavour and Morish. ! We had our 2 year old with us and they were happy enough to give her a smaller soup and made sure to take out all of the large chunks for her which was just perfect! The soup was also divine and the bread accompanying it was fresh and delicious. Lots of vegan options too which is good to know as we have lots of vegan friends. Wonderful service from the staff and super friendly . Definitely will visit again.

Possibly one of the nicest places I've eaten in a long time. Stumbled across this gem of a place on an impromptu visit to the Lakes. We ordered the sweetcorn soup, the chorizo style burger/sandwich and the curry. All 3 were bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. We asked the chef if he would mind sharing his recipe for the burger and he kindly provided us with it. All 3 people at the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming, the decor was quirkily colourful and bright and I just wish this place was nearer as I'd have a season ticket. Thanks for the delicious food, will definitely be back

If you're in Kendal you must check out the Red Door Kitchen. We tried every special on the menu today. The Thai green chicken meatball curry was insanely good. The cakes are also excellent. Fabulous atmosphere and cosy; a great place to escape the drizzle. Thank you Ann and Kevin for a wonderful lunch!
