We just called in here for a pit stop drink after a lovely afternoon mooching around Kendal exploring its fabulous food shopping opportunities and its plethora of 'yards' and historical buildings. Best venue in the area. I live and work in Lancaster and would absolutely love a place like Brewery Arts to be on our doorstep. Great selection of live acts and service is great.

Busy and vibrant. Would be better score, but had a big issue keeping up with drinks - all lager pumps failed at the same time! This led to long queues at the bar and frustrated staff and customers!

Popped in for lunch - never been before - while the menu isn't extensive, the food was excellent, and the staff were really helpful. Desserts were massive!
Vats bar is always great for a drink and a bite to eat. But if you go when a show is on it can be very busy.
Part of "The Brewery" complex good lively bar especially at weekend's. It also serves food. Great to visit before or after a show.
It's a shame that the food menu has been cut down now that the restaurant has gone. I like the burger but wish it wasn't served on a skanky wooden board!
Good selection of unusual and non branded ales and lagers. A bit more expensive than pubs nearby but worth a visit.
Great venue, friendly staff and choices for vegan tastes. Will be back soon.
