Sizergh Cafe - Kendal - Photo album

Decent cafe. Enjoyed a light lunch. Nice to have all the dishes using produce grown on site. Good vegan options and particularly appreciated a really filling bean soup that was enough sustenance for a long road trip.
Another wonderful national trust property with loads of history. Multiple rooms open in one wing across 2 levels. Interesting video on the history of the family and the house. Extensive parkland for walks with the dog. Some nice gardens, although nearby Holker Hall gardens are better. Large cafe
Stopped off at Sizergh Cafe whilst on a walk from Scouts Scar back to Kendal ..lovely Food and very reasonably priced ..tasty Pasties worth a try x
We had a great time. Lots of tables free, both indoors and outside. Very clean and well organised. Staff were lovely and the sausage baps were great!!
Being a bank holiday weekend meant the cafe was swamped with families catching up and enjoying time together. The cafe staff managed to keep up with the demand with their customary friendly manner. Always a delight to stop off at this little treasure of a cafe and we are already looking forward to o
We enjoyed our visit. The audio presentation was good, and the gardens were looking good
Lovely cafe and gardens. House was shut but still nice to walk round the gardens. Cafe had nice outside seating too.
We had a great day and the guides were very helpful the cafe is very nice and well supplied with a great variety of food .
National Trust property, now asks for donation for parking which suggests there is no legal right to collect it. Cafe good, prices fairly expensive, tends to run out of things towards the end of lunchtime.
Had a lovely coffee & scone Majority of the staff were very friendly just one lady who I'm sure was having a bad day or maybe the fact there was a staff shortage that day Not friendly & no apology to a poor lady who was sat at a table She knocked her table over whilst opening the outside door No ex
Lovely house with very nice woodwork. Enjoyed our stroll through the gardens. Lots of bulbs and other flowers in full bloom. Wonderful.
Beautiful place. Stopped for food in the cafe which was lovely, then walked around the gardens. Such a nice, picturesque place will be coming again.
Great café with excellent vegan options 😋
