We visited with my 86, year old Gran for lunch. It was very busy and we were going to have to wait for a table but the lovely lady on the counter pulled some tables together in the conservatory area so My Gran didn't have to wait to sit down. Took my mum, daughter and granddaughters for lunch last week, lovely garden seating, good menu choice (kids one too), no long wait, good portions. Lovely ice cream after including vegan options for dairy allergen child. Thank you 😊

Food delicious as always- a tad on the expensive side however it is a treat when we visit, so well worth it.
After all these years living in Kendal this was my first visit. I will definitely be going again. Lovely coffee flavoured ice cream. Nom nom nom. Grandkids enjoyed their ice cream too. Took the grandchildren and they are super picky [ like their mum] . They loved it, best ice-cream, best staff, best location. Just go there, its brilliant.

Food was really good (always been by the way). Been there more than twice with my fiancee, and would love to go back there again. If you're looking for a quiet and cosy place to eat, I highly recommend this place - great ambiance, great food, and great people!

We love to come to Hansens, and have been for quite a few years. The food and drinks are always good. But unfortunately your staff let you down! No welcome on arrival, just a frown, then unfortunately biting their nails whilst working. Other than this, it's great.
A really lovely little place and delicious ice cream also a lovely hemmed in garden where kids can run riot safely.
Nice café. Warm and nicely decorated with a rural feel. Snacks very good as is the coffee and hot chocolate. Clean toilets and several car parking areas.
