Best vegan smoked salmon I ever tasted! Would visit Kendal again just to eat here again, the goats 'cheese' and vegan salmon salad was to die for! Right next to the museum which is fab too, great coffee and burger we had too. So so good! Do try it here

Really pretty cafe inside the courtyard for the Quaker museum, service was quick and the food was really delicious. Wow, this place is a real vegan gem in the Lake District! The cafe was very contemporary and stylish, the service was friendly and the food was delicious... some of the best we've had in the UK! The food here is excellent. All plant based menu. Salad, soups or good old burger and chips. Everything is fresh and homemade. Vegan salmon salad is excellent. The only downside is that it's small and getting a table can be difficult at busier times.

Delightful cafe in a tranquil setting, even though it's just off a busy thoroughfare. Delicious food; I'm not vegan but had a lovely meal. We've been in the Lake District for 10 days and this was probably the best food we've had so far.

I'm so glad I found this little gem. The food was delicious! I ordered banana pancakes with maple syrup and a hot chocolate and the portions were very generous and satisfying. There was a really good selection on the menu and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Tastiest homemade vegan food - no matter which soup is on, guaranteed to be delicious. The food is made with love and you can tell. The cakes are lovely and don't come with the dryness that you often find with vegan cakes.

Always make sure I come here for lunch whenever I'm in Kendal. Nikki's food is amazing, the walnut pate is incredible
