What a great course to play. Very undulating so be prepared for some very elevated tee shots. The views of the surrounding areas are amazing. A few rounds here will definitely benefit you on knowing the lines due to the blind uphill and downhill holes.
Wow. What a fantastic course.
Very hilly starts with a par4 up a big hill. But the views are fantastic around this course. Some gorgeous holes, a few blind tee shots. A few greens had some work on going and had been seeded when we played. This didnt really subtract from the experience. I really enjoyed this challenging course, you'd definitely benefit playing with someone who knows each hole or playing it multiple times.
Fantastic view. Needs more people to bring up the atmosphere. But give it a try. Sunday carvery very good. Well priced.
Definitely worth a round. Sloping fairways, blind tee shots, uphill & downhill holes - this course has a little bit of everything to keep you challenged but is also rewarding and a fair test. A great combination. Prices are scaled for peak / off peak times which is great. And the views over Kendal are magnificent.
Challenging, well maintained course with a good variety of hole lengths and layouts to interest golfers of all abilities. Lot of climbing as the course sits on top of a hill but you do get great views. I played on 25th September after heavy rain had fallen the day before. The course was very wet and there was little run which made it hard work. Pro said that it would take another day to dry up. I hope to play Kendal again in a dry spell.
I'll give you a price for new double glazed units.Then you would have a good view from the bar area 😉
Cracking day, challenging course and some amazing views!
Went to a birthday party here that was held In the bar/ function room. The place was large and airey with a good bar and dance floor. We had a bacon bun buffet in the evening that was great and fresh. There was plenty of parking available for guests and the views were unbelievable from that height ! Keep it in mind if you have a function coming up
Nice course even in winter. The guy in the pro shop was friendly and informative and the two members who accompanied us on our round were pleasant and helpful I will definitely be returning

We played Kendal in near perfect conditions, sunshine, little wind and the ball was running. It was still a test! Lots of indecision on the tee, lots of blind shots and lots of hills. A map on the card would be a great help! Greens had recently been scarified so we're a bit erratic. The views are fantastic, so you can enjoy the walk if your golf is less than average. It is not a course you would want to play for the "first time" , twice !! We will be back to play it again, for the second time, to enjoy the 18 very individual holes with a bit more knowledge of where we should or should not go! Give it a try!
