I absolutely loved this restaurant! I was staying in a hotel a few miles away and couldn't get a table in the restaurant so decided to venture out and find somewhere else to eat. I live in Cambridge so had no idea where to go and completely stumbled upon this place. Despite being busy the friendly staff found me a table, gave me an inviting menu and gave me advice on the best meal to eat!
My food arrived very quickly, was piping hot and tasted fantastic! My only tiny issue was my medium steak was slightly more done than I'd hoped and I asked for no mushroom and it came anyway, but that was tiny in comparison to my extremely pleasant experience. I would happily recommend this place, from looking around every group was enjoying themselves, and if I'm local again I would happily come back again.
If you are ever in the area please try this place, it made me feel so relaxed despite having to dine alone. Great job!
We came to ego last night the food was amazing! great variety on the menu and the staff were very friendly we was never with out a drink and was always asked if we wanted anything else . Defiantly will be back again top place !

Called in for lunch four adults and my 6 year old grandchild. Food was amazing especially impressed with the children’s menu. Even better as it was half term my grandsons meal was free. The restaurant was busy and there was a delay in our main course arriving. We were given a free round of drinks to apologies even though we didn’t complain. Service and food excellent

Third Monday night visit to Ego in Kenilworth - each time the food and service have been so consistently good. Great choices on the menu, lovely surroundings and somehow the staff who have miles to work at high speed, still manage to create a calm, welcoming and comfortable environment - where lingering after eating is not a problem for them. Highy recommended - do book very busy Modays

Fantastic service tonight. A little wait on our dinner, but the staff were amazingly kind and offered us complimentary drinks and dessert. Would have come back for the food alone - but with service like that why would you go anywhere else.

Great Tagine. I've been to Ego about a dozen times now - the 40% off food vouchers are just to good to ignore!
I've never been disappointed with a meal at Ego but my absolute favourites are the starter sharing boards, the Lamb Tagine, and the cheesecake - delicious!

Food was delicious, service second to none and as it was Monday we availed of the two courses for £20 deal. And even though it was a meal deal, portion size was definitely not compromised.

Very well-appointed Mediterranean restaurant on Kenilworths main street. Starters were very good portion sizes, and there is a wide range of mains to choose from, including Mediterranean favourites like Sea Bass and Paella. Deserts were high quality, if a little on the smaller side. An extensive wine list compliments any food selection.
Lovely restaurant that was very welcoming and made some space for us when we dropped in after trying to find somewhere for early evening meal on a Sunday. Really fresh and tasty meals came out swiftly and the staff were lovely. Good value for what we ate and a very extensive drinks and non-alcoholic menu. A real gem nestled on the high street.
Overall the service and food was good considering we were a table of 17 people. They accommodated all of our needs and even did make your own pizza for our children!

Friendly staff & delicious food (we went on a Thursday when it’s kebab night and wow they were good!!). Really lively atmosphere in the restaurant, we could see into the kitchen and the chefs seemed to be loving life, singing along to music!
Had a lovely meal here. We had the early bird menu which was great value. The place was very busy with a few birthday parties and it was very noisy and hot but everyone seemed to be having a good time.
What a cracking restaurant. We were there on a Friday evening and it was ‘buzzing’. Mediterranean so much choice. Excellent food, great atmosphere and wonderful service. The staff all ‘operated’ at high speed. Must go back as so many choices. Kebabs were clearly very popular. November 2022 visit. Again, excellent menu, many choices, friendly and efficient staff. This time I chose the mixed paella 🥘👍.

Beautiful ambience with a ckean, modern feel.
Each item on the sharing board was very tasty and well presented. Perfectly suited for 2 persons as there were 2 of each item, however can be a great starter for 4 persons sharing.
This is my 2nd time visiting here, had the hanging chicken kebab meal which was quite tasty and quite a generous portion.
Will definitely recommend.
Really good visit to Ego recently.
Went with a group of lads, twelve of us on steak night, everything was spot on and we were looked after really well. Not easy doing twelve steaks, well, eleven and some prawns... There's always one!
Then just two of us a few weeks later, equally well looked after, had to argue the toss over the bill, but that seems to be everywhere you go these days.
Staff are engaging, friendly and knowledgeable. You don't always get that kind of service from a chain restaurant, however small the group is.
Ego used to be a go to when we lived in Kenilworth but we hadn't been for years since moving to Rugby.
We went last night on a Monday for their deal night. It was still great years on. Feels like a high end restaurant with really nice attentive staff and delicious food.
I think they need to refurb the toilets however the rest of it is really beautifully done out
We had 2 courses each, a bottle of prosecco 3 x beers and a coffee and it was £124 or 4 of us which I think it incredible value

A lovely relaxing time out with friends for my birthday. Food and service excellent as always. A bonus to have live music in the background provided a perfect evening.
Lovely atmosphere, great food. We had calamari and salmon fish cake for starters, followed by paella mixta and Moroccan lamb, dessert chocolate brownie sundae and a mini pud with coffee. The staff were attentive, service was prompt and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the ambience and the experience. Huge thanks to all!
A fantastic place for a delicious, yet affordable meal!
We were greeted by the hostess who gave us a walk welcome and was very hospitable throughout our meal. The dining room was beautiful, with a lovely open layout and a warm, friendly atmosphere was created by the wall mounted lanterns and table lit candles.
Myself and my partner opted for the Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint. The prime rib of beef was beautifully cooked and melted in the mouth, the dauphunois potatoes were creamy and rich and the vegetables were all cooked to perfection. My partner had the nut roast which she also enjoyed. We both ordered the cookie dough and brownie sundae which was great.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at ego and will definitely be returning.
Everyone in our party of 10 really enjoyed our Sunday Lunch at Ego. The very varied Sunday and Junior menus had something for all tastes and the ability to submit most of the order online the night before was appreciated. The warm welcome, attentive service, delicious food and surprise birthday candle all made for a memorable family occasion. Not the first such occasion held at Ego Kenilworth and definitely not the last! Many thanks.
