Golden Steer Steak'n Rib House

I definitely wouldn't choose this restaurant for the ambience. Not a modern place and the restrooms did not feel especially clean. BUT, the food good, the servings were a good value, and the service was great. I had the reuben with sour cream, it was fantastic. My husband had a bbq burger and we had two types of desserts at our table, everything was delicious. Recommended.

Relatives live up this way, and we go here occasionally. Good bar, good food, good service. Old west type decor which is kinda cool. Prices have risen due to costs, but still affordable. Don't expect 13 Coins type food, but the salad bar (oops, gone now with Covid) is plentiful, the breakfasts are decent portions, lunch's & dinners are good food like Gramma made..well, mine anyway. She was a decent cook. Not your chain-type food, which is refreshing. 👍

I was so impressed today! I called in an order for pick up and they went above and beyond to fill our order! I was so happy to get a delicious french dip & sweet potato fries and they actually went to the store for the French dip rolls just to give me exactly what I wanted! They could have just asked me to order something different, they were very busy today & had run out of the rolls but they sent my husband home with exactly what we ordered all hot fresh and delish!!! Every special request was honored! All the sides were there too! You really won me over today! My husband's beer battered onion rings with his burger were delicious too!! You guys have the best onion rings!! Thank you for making our take out experience one that led to a great at home meal!
