I used to really love the Tom yum noodle soup at Youpa. Unfortunately when I went to get my order today I found out they have new owners. That's fine, it happens. But then I got home and poured the Tom yum noodle soup broth in my bowl. Before adding the rest of the ingredients, I noticed it was a pale yellow color. That's unusual because it's usually a rich reddish color. I took a spoonful and tasted it. It was like lightly flavored Tom yum water. I put the noodles and other ingredients in the bowl because I already spent $15 on this and I added some of my homemade chili oil in hopes it would add something to make it edible. If disappointment had a taste, it would taste like that noodle soup. I'm not going back to this new Youpa Thai. It's always been expensive compared to other Thai places but the flavors and portions made it worth it. I'd give zero stars if I could because I ended up dumping half the soup into the trash

I had super high hopes after reading all the racing reviews. And then I was disappointed. I really enjoyed the Thai Pork Sausage, but the Green Curry and Pad See Ew were both mediocre, and the Garlic Crispy Chicken was not crispy nor flavoful.

Very traditional spices and flavors. Husband and wife team and the wife does an amazing job with the food. I love spicy food and most places are not traditional- so when you ask for a three star, it's truly a three star. They will even make 5+ star which when in the mood, it's amazing. Reminds me of Thai street dishes and food made the way they should be. Husband runs the front, funny guy. Overall have not had a bad experience or any bad dishes from this place. I would choose Youpa's over the others in the area.

The order to go time is quick. Phad Thai and Green curry are delicious. The 5 stars spiciness should be spiced a little more. Anyway, We love it.

They forgot to give me part of the order, even though I asked them if everything was in there. Had to drive back so by the time I got to sit down at the dinner table some food was cold. Guy at the counter said sorry, that’s it. What happened to trying to make it right for the customer? Not mad about the missing item, just disappointed of how they handled the mistake. Food was average and not worth the price.

I often use prior ratings to decide whether or not to visit someplace new and Youpa's has really good ratings on Google. Anyway, I went to eat here months ago with my housemate, his sister and nephew. The service was horrible, but the food was average to above par (especially the pineapple fried rice with added crab). Having a guest over who deserved better than I could muster up in a moment and chalking the front-end facing service up to low staffing issues and the disenchantment of workers as of late, I decided to skip that part of the experience and call tonight to place an order for pickup, . The introduction was, "Youpa's Thai Kitchen, can you hold?" I said, "Yes, of course." The line went silent. Four minutes and twenty seconds later I found myself hanging up and ordering from an entirely new place who not only answered but did so cordially and even helped me out to my car with the drinks. Youpa's, your ratings imply better, please do better. Due to ratings inflation, I'll give you a 2 because the food, if it can be ordered and get past the service issues, is still warm and satisfying.

Very disappointed. For an Entree for $15.95 this is all I got. Half of the container. Spend $50 for a dinner and now I have to go elsewhere to eat because it didn't even come with any rice or anything. I'll never go back.

I have been eating at a different Thai restaurant in Kent for years and have always been happy with the food, but a friend of mine recently told me how delicious the food is at Youpa’s, so I decided to give it a try. I wasn’t expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was hot, fresh and indeed delicious. So much flavor. I do agree with other reviewers that the portion sizes are a bit small for the price, but that didn’t bother me too much. Glad to find another top quality Thai place in Kent. I’ll definitely be back.
