Wow.. what a great place. A nice village pub with a warm welcome. But the restaurant what an amazing hidden away heaven. Three of us had burgers which were cooked absolutely spot-on, my youngest had fish and chips which were the best I have tasted in a long time. The batter was very thin and crispy totally delicious. Anyone in the area MUST try here. Only hiccup was that I had booked two tables but was forgiven :-)

Went here for a meal this evening and the food was delicious. Being a vegetarian I am normally short on choice but had some delicious food to choose from. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a lovely place to eat. Will definitely go back again.

Thanks you for a lovely meal on Tuesday evening. Not only were you swift and efficient, but that braised shoulder of lamb was truly delicious – it really was “melt in your mouth” meat with loads of perfectly cooked vegetables. Thankyou everyone. J

We called at the Wyndham Arms twice while on holliday last week, firstly an impromptue visit Saturday lunch time. There were 12 of us but we were found a table quite quickly & told we might have to wait a while as they had another prebooked large group, well worth the wait, the food was superb. We enjoyed it so much we all went back Wednesday evening for an early evening meal & every plate was empty & everyone agreed if we are ever in the area again we will call in. Great pub & friendly staff. Margaret Winter from Cumbria

How a pub should be. Made to feel very welcome, excellent food at a reasonable price. The landlord / landlady and staff are the best. In the dog friendly area, our Alsatian was spoiled more than us !!. Highly recommended, we will return soon.

I would highly recommend this pub for their excellent service, their attention to detail, everything they do for their customers. We recently had our wedding party there in fact it was on the 18th and 19th August and it was amazing, both Craig and Anka went out of their way to please us. The food was incredible we are so happy they made our special days an amazing time we could remember and enjoyed every second. Thank you to all the team at the Wyndham Arms for your hospitality smiles laughter and great times. Thank You.

What a lovely village my wife used to visit this place as a child, everyone we met was friendly and helpful and the pub was very welcoming and the coffee was great.the menu looked good but we only wanted a warm refreshment and it wasn't a bother to heat up our grandchild's lunch a charming little village with a lovely little pub.

Lovely welcoming country pub run by the friendliest family in Kentisbeare, great range of beers on tap, dart board, pool table & huge widescreen for SkySports, what’s not to love?! Best pub in the Cullompton area, always look forward to popping in to brighten the day 😃🍺

Went into this lovely little country pub in Kentishbear in Devon,we only had a drink and a packet of nuts each which was very enjoyable,we will pop back again to sample the food. This olde worldly place which dates back to the 15th century is run by two nice gentleman by the names of Alan Kershaw and Graham Gulliford who are both very friendly and welcoming.I would recommend this place for everyone in the area to visit.

Fantastic friendly staff, family run, we have been made so welcome by both locals and staff. The food is cooked to order and is locally supplied meats and we have tried most things on the menu. The steaks are cooked to perfection, the fish ( or shark as we call it because of its size) is lovely. we have not had a single meal that we have been disappointed in to the extent the family who runs it goes out of their way to please. we asked for a surf and turf which isn't on the menu and they have done it ever since for us. warning the mixed grill isn't for the faint hearted and all portion sizes are more than adequate, the cheese board is amazing. The locals have made us feel so welcome that we almost feel local ourselves. This is a community pub set in a beautiful village with a heart and lots of love and dedication A+.
