After trying to find somewhere to eat that wasn't a pub we found Magnolia and I'm so glad we did we felt welcomed as soon as we walked through the door I had the most amazing steak and my partner had muscles which were outstanding great food excellent service and some top class Belgian beer to top our wonderful evening thank you
Called in for lunch with Vicki Jennings Cavanagh with our Ben, Claire & grandson Alex great place and the staff are very friendly however the young waitress doesn't like the through from the kitchen she doesn't half give a kick
Great food, great beer, and fantastic staff, our favourite place! A must visit when in Keswick
Fabulous place for lunch and dinner with great coffees, wine, spirits and an excellent selection of Belgian beers. A stunning Drunken Monk menu with stunning steaks and moules. And a wonderful atmosphere and great staff complete the establishment... Highly recommended.
Nice little place, the perfect resting place on what was a cold day. Nice staff and good selection of ales.
We visited on two occasions during the bank holiday weekend. The guy who sings in the subway is very talented and some acoustic music is perfect for this bar. On the 2nd evening we were accommodated with our dog who is poorly and has to stay in a pram. The lady with the red hair is very experienced and offers a great level of service. Lovely, chilled and social bar
What a funky place ! Superb food, gregarious staff and a beer menu that would justify a sleepover.
Was lovely food and beer. Great place to go, will deffo mention to friends
Great fresh food, wide range of drinks, with a massively good selection of (Belgian) beers. Worth reserving a table in the evening, and no pressure to eat quickly or vacate it if you do. Staff all friendly too.
Great beer selection! Nice food menu. Friendly staff. What's not to like
Lovely place! It was really cosy and warm and they even welcomed in our two wet dogs! The food was excellent... I thoroughly recommend the fish pie and my husband's lamb was so tender. We will definitely return! Thank you.
Great decor, facilities and menu. Lovely service and great drinks to try. Would thoroughly recommend!!

Great atmosphere great food and great staff.
Great atmosphere, great beer and dog friendly
Ic and Flic looked up best pizza in Keswick and this cafe bar came up. I have been before a couple of years ago as they sell real ale. On this March Monday only two left of four after the weekend rush. A new brewery for me, Gan Yam from Kendal. A really delicious and refreshing 3.9% Pale Ale. Icarus went veggie and ordered a goats cheese, red onion, artichoke and rocket pizza for us to share. £14.95. A lovely thin base with crispy crust..as Flicarus likes it. Also really tastey.
Best pizza in Keswick. Thinnest crispiest crust with delightful tasty toppings! Please tell me your secret. Beers are pretty good too especially the cans in the fridge. Very expensive beers though. I thought the square Orange did the best thin crispy pizzas but this place is marginally better. Blew me away. I had the goats cheese and caramelised onion one with artichokes.
This was a really nice pub/ restaurant that was open on boxing day when many others in Keswick were closed. It was warm and inviting, with a good selection of drinks and pizzas. The decor is unique and nice, the service was lovely with a smile. Pizzas were nicely cooked, thin and arrived hot from the oven. A good place to nip in and have a drink or a bite of pizza.
The staff here should be very proud. The individuals were friendly and attentive. Our large order was handled with an excellent level of deftness and humility. The team made this visit a joy. The pizza itself was very well made, to the point where I forgot to take a photograph until after starting a slice. I requested an additional item, and this was accounted for.
Additionally, the beer sold here included very local options, which were delicious and lovely to see.
Dog friendly.
We visited here after it being recommended by a local, our intentions where to have a drink and a pizza and move on. We arrived about seven o'clock and left around half eleven so as you can guess we rather liked the the place. The pizza's were amazing, a lovely thin crispy base with a range of toppings to choose from. The beers were very expensive , but many are imported strong beers so this was to be expected and didn't put us off sampling quite a few. We visited on a Monday evening which is open mic night and were thoroughly entertained by each and every act.
Best pizza I’ve honestly ever had. Beautiful thin, fresh base, great size and delicious toppings. 8 of us and 3 dogs stopped in on the off chance and had a great meal. Delicious, excellent value and great service. Looked after really well. Will be back. Highly recommended.
Number 1 go to place, not just the lakes, but the UK. Pizza is by far the best I’ve ever had, beers are local and have a great selection, not expensive either. The team are really welcoming and very friendly. Atmosphere is always spot on. Looking forward to coming back already!
Fun Quiz on a wednesday evening, including an activity round where we had to make a tin foli castle. Our Castle was rubbish , so did this to defend it.
FIrst ever pint of Lakes Brew Co IPA . First pint they had also served. If this Brewery doesn't become one of the biggest in the Lakes then something is wrong in the world. What a cracking pint ( along with Fell which they also serve) . Didn't eat but they do also serve pizza which also smelt and looked good. Try the Lakes Brew Co and Fell though . Two of lakelands best. Highly recommended.
Revisited 2years later and somehow won the free Wednesday Night quiz with a bonus £25 to spend behind the bar or on food.
Excellent friendly staff and cracking atmosphere. A small walk from the square but well worth it.
A fave on any visit to Keswick.

Fab, quirky little bolt-hole that you simply MUST visit. Lovely welcoming staff (we had an 8yo and 4yo at 730pm at night looking for food) and got the last table. AMAZING pizzas, possibly the best I’ve ever tasted with such lovely unusual options to chose from. Drinks choice vast and a live singer topped the evening off perfectly. Although we aren’t local, we will be recommending it to our hirers who often visit Keswick.
We had a really lovely afternoon here. The pizza was HUGE and very tasty! Washed down with a local brewed stout, couldn't be happier!
Wonderful staff and top knotch staff 👏
First day on holiday, got a recommendation for this pub and it was definitely worth it. Great open mic night, nice personnel, good service, lovely chats with both personnel and guests.
What could I possibly want more?
PS:
Why 4/5 for the superthin pizza? Well, you should never rest on your success, guys. 😉
Great pizza and very lively atmosphere. It is very busy so it was just luck someone left just as we arrived. Mulled wine was very Christmassy. Pizzas were delicious. Crispy bases and good size. It's also a fascinatingly building.
Nice interesting place. We ate pizza with spicy salami. Was nice, if you like the real very thin type pizza. Taste was really good. They have nice beers and lagers (locals and belgian and german too) and lots of other spirits. So if you are fancy with gin or whiskey, youhave plenty of choice. Staff really kind, and helpful, they give us a little from beers to taste them - so we could choose after.
You can sit inside, outside just maybe 2 tables for 2-2 person. As it was a very hot day when we were there, inside was really hot. I felt sorry for staff.
Anyway, good place, nice drinks, good pizza, kind staff. If you have time go and take a visite there.
Pesto sundried tomatoes pizza. Yum yum yum. This place is a little jewel. Lovely staff and great tunes. A must visit if you are in Keswick.
What a wonderful find. Looked for somewhere gluten free worthy on trip advisor and this place didn’t come up but we walked past and I’m glad we popped in. There is gluten free drinks available and also gluten free food.
Excellent pizza with gluten free available. Dog friendly and great staff. Excellent range of drinks and prices are very reasonable especially for Keswick.
I wanted to visit this bar after reading the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed, great beers on tap and possibly one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The base was so thin and crispy exactly how I like it with just the right amount of toppings. Thinking about my next visit/pizza 🤤
Brilliant cafe/bar. Atmosphere great, food great and wide choice of craft beers and other drinks . Pizza was delicious
Love this place. Great beer selection and the pizza is very good. Service is also excellent. I'd argue it's the best place to eat in Keswick.
