great find in Keswick. I had the Heidi pie (fresh out of the oven and delicious!) and my boyfriend had a panini. Everything homemade and fresh. Sausage rolls in particular looked great, plenty of veggie options too. Owner was welcoming and chatty - told us he had just taken over and we hope he has every success! reasonable prices too. Worth a visit.

As an American tourist, it can be hard to not label every single place I eat at as “the best”, but it highly deserved for this place. I came last September with a tour group, and on a free day used my money to get an AWESOME sandwich and drink for only £5, walked to the lake, stuffed it in my face then walked nearly a mile back to get another! Besides the food being to die for, the girls working the shop that day were incredibly sweet! Id 100% make the 5,000mile trip back across the Atlantic for the sole purpose of having another sandwich from here :)

Amazing little find! Tucked away just before getting into town we found this small Italian takeaway. We were greeted by two lady’s who were very welcoming and helped me through the menu as my partner is gluten free. I got an amazing homemade steak pie filled to the brim with steak and gravy. My partner had a delicious salad with creamy potato’s and a gluten free cake which was unbelievable. Do not miss this place. We will be back!
