Wimpy's Diner

2nd day of dining out since stay home order in Toronto was rescinded, we were wandering around the city and found Wimpys for our dinner. I ordered chicken parmesan and my husband had "10oz Not-So-Wimpy burger". The foods were really good, and good on the wallet 😋. Specially, the service was great, but I forgot to ask her name. She was fabulous and cheerful. After the dinner, she told us her secret sunset spot and showed us her beautiful pictures 🌇. Although we didn't stay until the sunset, that's because we know we will be back soon. Totally recommend for the food and service.

Used to enjoy coming here, but my latest experience was very slow service and not too friendly staff. The food "presentation" really lacks and the space looks even worse now that they tore down a wall to make it bigger. The server was muttering under her breath about the service being so slow that she thought the food order was lost, someone who looked like a cook was wandering around the dinning room and it took us 45-60 minutes to get two breakfasts.

My husband and I went there this morning Tues. Oct 26th for breakfast. The service was good but the food not so much. We had sausages and eggs, toast, homefries we asked for the sausage to be well done. It came very well done they deep fried it (sausage) I could only eat one you got three and I took the rest home. My husband and I both have had a stomach ache the whole day. These were awful. The portions are good but if you suffer afterwards it's not worth it. Just an FYI.
