Disalvo's Deli

By far and away the best Italian deli and food store in the Miami Valley. The ownership here actually work harder than the employees. There's nothing better than walking into a place that is ran this efficiently. My wife and I have been here quite a few times, and we have never once had an issue. We love their Italian sandwich, tiramisu, and just about every other thing we've ever tried in this establishment. The owners are five star entrepreneurs, human beings, and now friends!

This is one of Dayton's best kept secrets. The eggplant parmesan was the best I have had in Dayton. The salmon wasn't fishy at all. It was flaky and the sauce was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chocolate cake tastes like what I imagined Bruce's cake in the movie Matilda tastes like. It was moist and rich and the frosting was creamy and perfect. I could have eaten a gallon of the German chocolate cake frosting. Alana was so helpful!!! I love it when employees actually eat the food. She gave us awesome recommendations and explained how the deli worked and the dessert scheduling. They are lucky to have such a great asset to their company. Thank you again!!! If you are looking for a authentic Italian deli experience this is it. Definitely going back.

A terrific deli with a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, pastas, and delicious desserts all made fresh! It was exciting to see the meats being prepped just on the other side of the counter. Good people there create a great working environment leading to excellent service. I had the corned beef reuben, chocolate chip cookie, and tiramisu all of which never stood a chance. :) Very cool to see the place my dad loves. Would recommend to friends and family!

Delicious!!! Home style/family dining, with something for everyone. I had a Turkey sandwich with potato salad. I recommend it, and will be getting it again. If you ever find yourself near E. Stroop, in Kettering, OH stop on in. Tell them Doug sent you. They don't know me so you may get a weird look...lol

Stopped by the deli this afternoon for the first time. Getting out of the car i was treated to the smell of smoking ribs before I hit the front door. Inside I found a classic deli setup and a solid and robust menu. I decided to order two of the ribs, a half meatball sub, and the tortellini salad. The ribs were good and the tortellini salad was better. However, the meatball sub was the star of the show. This is the best Italian I've had outside the North end of Boston.

Excellent Mom & Pop Deli. The best Reuben Corned Beef sandwiches! You can actually get a bowl of homemade soup there. The best, best, best, homemade chocolate cake anywhere! Definitely on par with Martha Stewart. Honestly, it doesn't get much better than this. A real treasure in the Greater Dayton Area. Very warm and welcoming staff.
