Just been to Werringtons Sandwich shop and I must say how lovely and fresh everything was and very good value .. full baguette , hot sausage roll and a can of pop meal deal £3.25 �
We used Werringtons to supply Fish and Chips for our charity quiz night. We ordered 95 portions which were delivered hot, on time and were delicious. What was even more impressive was that I asked for a delivery time of 8.30 pm on a Saturday evening.

I would definitely recommend Werringtons and look forward to using their services again at our next fundraising event.

I frequently travel a 22-mile round trip from my home to get YORKSHIRE FISHCAKES, as well as other items for friends and neighbours. I am never disappointed, and if I call ahead, my order is always ready-made and well packaged to stay at optimum temperature for arrival home. 5 stars 🌟 isn't enough, as in my view Werringtons is outstanding ✨️ ♥️ 😋😋😋😋😋
First time entering this establishment. Thought it was very clean and very well organised. Fish and chips was delicious and the curry sauce was nice. Will definitely come back again.
Ordered From here this Evening, 1/2lb Cheese Burger and Cheesey Chips. For £8.50 prahaps that's £8.40 and 10p for the Bag, Can not fault it. Very much enjoyed it. Made a Nice change.
Very friendly staff, freshly cooked chips however they were in a hurry and could have cooked the chips and my cod roe longer.
I'm sure their chips and fish is always good. Overall tasted great just wasn't crispy enough.
Really good chippy that sells kebabs as well.
Really disappointed. Ordered direct and email confirmation back 60 mins for delivery. Finally turned up just short of 1 hour 30 mins. Ordered kids meal no toy or treat included. Batter on fish was hard and chewy. Food was luke warm and most ended up in the bin. First time we’ve ever had delivery usually we go direct and never had a problem. Worse meal we have ever had, they are usually so good. Lesson learnt.
After our bad review above the owner got in touch with us to personally apologise and put things right. We had a replacement meal which we collected and honestly cannot fault the meal. Back to the usual standard we’ve had from them in the past. It takes a lot for a business to hold up their hands which we admire from them the most. Thank you for being honest and rectifying. A good honest local business 👏
After giving up on KFC due to queue and lack of availability of food, we found this place.
We were glad KFC went wrong as this was much nicer. Lovely fish, sausage and chips. If we lived here we would definitely go again.
I noticed they were being careful too (covid) wearing masks etc which is impressive when most places have forgotten there is still a pandemic.
Quick delivery & portion sizes were massive, good value for money & tasted great.

Wonderful service and wonderful Fish and Chips. Couldn’t believe the speed of delivery and the the quality took us back. The fish batter was the best we have seen or tasted for years — No joke!
