Was good to visit again after a long while, given a lovely table for the 6 of us. Good gluten free options and nice menu. When we got the food it was all lovely, but the food service was very slow. 2 of us had starters, but we waited over an hour for our mains, which was the only real downside.
First time visiting the restaurant and was really impressed. I did not get the lady's name that dealt with us but she was smartly dressed and very polite. My only comment would be, as a first time customer on entering it was a tad confusing, you are greeted with a choice of two stairways , one with a sign saying wait to be seated, and one heading downstairs with no signage. So, l would think the average person
We were greeted with a smile and shown our table. We ordered via the QR code, and our drinks came quickly followed by our delicious food. Our little dog Albie was with us and he was made as fuss if by the friendly bar man, which was really nice. We enjoyed our first visit and definitely will return.

Visited on a Wednesday evening with the family. All had a great meal, staff were really friendly and understanding about difficult dietary requirements (lots of gluten free stuff available if you ask for the menu or check online). Had loads of fun at the quiz - something in there for everyone.
