Except on this occasion the food took 50 minutes to arrive.
Alot of pubs are busy at weekends but food shouldn't be quite so slow, especially with several empty tables.
Sauces and cutlery were in a pot at the table.
Sports TV inside.
Pool table available.
Good for a quick stop off.

Went here for an evening meal yesterday and sat upstairs. I had the classic beef burger which I was massively impressed by. It was perfectly cooked, not too thick and tasted delicious. Definitely one of the best 'pub' burgers I've had! We also had a 30% off voucher which made the meal even more reasonably priced. Will absolutely return again!

Every table downstairs was booked this evening from 7PM onwards so definitely pays to book ahead of arrival.
Huge serving of reasonably priced & tasty food with great service too. My Assistance Hound and I made to feel very welcome and a valued customer; UNLIKE if you are unlucky enough to visit Kettering Lidl...
My Surf & Turf was delicious tonight, the background music had me bouncing in my chair and the service was wonderful. Sally and I hung around after our meal, until it was time to leave for the cinema; will possibly regret, half way through the movie, that second pint of pop! Was good to visit again after a long while, given a lovely table for the 6 of us. Good gluten free options and nice menu. When we got the food it was all lovely, but the food service was very slow. 2 of us had starters, but we waited over an hour for our mains, which was the only real downside.

First time visiting the restaurant and was really impressed. I did not get the lady's name that dealt with us but she was smartly dressed and very polite. Restaurant was nice and clean and welcoming, food was excellent and we really enjoyed it. Overall a great experience for us and we will be coming back again

Another fabulous meal at the Park House Pub in Kettering. 30%of all main meals including grills and steak. Lovely atmosphere as it was quiz night and the restaurant upstairs was full too. Our lovely servers Carla and Amber were efficient, really pleasant with a polite, friendly demeanour and appropriate sense of humour. They were a credit to the restaurant.

My only comment would be, as a first time customer on entering it was a tad confusing, you are greeted with a choice of two stairways , one with a sign saying wait to be seated, and one heading downstairs with no signage. So, l would think the average person would head for the sign saying wait to be seated, only to be told they were fully booked, but you can go downstairs and have a meal! There you do the normal pub type meal, table no and order at the bar. Or maybe its just me!

We were greeted with a smile and shown our table. We ordered via the QR code, and our drinks came quickly followed by our delicious food. Our little dog Albie was with us and he was made as fuss if by the friendly bar man, which was really nice. We enjoyed our first visit and definitely will return. Thank you.

Tom the barman was very pleasant and was able to help us choose our drinks and directed us to our table. He also informed us that there might be a wait for our food due to there being a large group in the restaurant. Upon ordering food Tom asked us if there were any allergies or intolerances in our party. Leigha and Lily were polite and made sure we had everything we needed and served our food professionally. All in all a pleasant experience - well done Team 👍🏼

Went to “Karen’s Diner” tonight at the Parkhouse as part of my birthday.
I just want to thank everyone involved in the event as we all had an amazing time! Staff were brilliant at giving us banter and were great at adapting to the level of banter that different customers could take.
We would seriously recommend this theme again, we all loved it - the atmosphere was so fun and the food was delicious, good portions for the price.
This is something we will remember for a long time. HUGE thank you and special shout-out to Tommy for being the perfect host and keeping us all engaged and laughing throughout the evening. Loved every minute!

The booking table reservation system was very easy to use and add any special requirements which for my party was essential to have downstairs and quiet area selected. The welcome from staff was good and our drinks brought to our table whilst browsing the menu , we didn't have a starter as our appetites preferred just a 2 course meal....and drinks . All our chosen main courses were excellent and timely presented , my own Roast beef was a delight with the large portion of meat cooked to my liking and a melt in the mouth moment .
The choice of desserts was good although 3 of us opted for the Rock a Choc Sundae , there was no similar choice for a Sundae without Chocolate , but on request a fruit style Sundae ( strawberry /raspberry and syrups with vanilla ice cream was made available for the 4th person . (Maybe add this option to the dessert menu ?)
With the very high temperature in the weather 30`+ (followed by a thunderstorm ) during our stay the ambience was cool and comfortable , we were not hurried from our table even though it became busier , we indulged in another few drinks , before departure and a very welcome total (Value for Money ) bill of around ÂŁ78.00 for all 4 of us . One item of note which perhaps could be improved is the table seemed sticky to touch in places although it was clean and functional. An enjoyable occasion .

Visited on a Wednesday evening with the family. All had a great meal, staff were really friendly and understanding about difficult dietary requirements (lots of gluten free stuff available if you ask for the menu or check online). Had loads of fun at the quiz - something in there for everyone.

If I could rate less than a star I would, worst meal I've ever had and by far the worst customer service. Went a few months ago and had the most atrocious meal, sent an email complaining and got sent a voucher for 4 free meals. Went in tonight and received a meal that was 10x worst than the first time!! I will never eat here again and I would not recommend it to anyone!!! The managers approach to our appalling meal was absolutely disgusting! Never again!!

Christmas day dinner was a total disappointed thanks to the shambles that is the Parkhouse Kettering. The long wait to be seated ( with my 97 old father ) was followed by a long wait to be served starter and mains, all of which were cold and under cooked.
The potatoes and the other veg had totally bypassed the cooking process, and I had to leave two thirds of my meal, and the only cooked part of the meal were the stuffing "ball" and turkey. The ÂŁ43 charge was daylight robbery considering the meal was basically raw veg with a bit of turkery with something disguised as gravy. This was supposed to of been an enjoyable day with my parents, but it turned out to be an embarrassing (for us and the staff) and ruined day for us all.
There should be a zero star rating, because that's what you deserve.

Even though the place is very cozy with some lovely staff, the food was atrocious. We had the nachos and the burger, nachos basically was just some corn chips with cheese, a tea spoon of avocado and a couple of tinned jalapeños. The burger was dry and bland.

Called to reserve a table for 13 as unable to book for more than 10 people online and was told that they don't take bookings for groups larger than 8 as their kitchen can't cope.... but if we would like to go and sit on separate tables then that would be ok! For a pub/restaurant of that size that seems pretty ridiculous!

The wife and i had a 2 for 1, great food, i had a burger the wife had Cajun chicken, both were hot and tasty. Great value for money as a snack which was what we wanted. Never had a bad meal here, we will definitely be returning.

That's the last time I'll eat here today. We gave it a second chance after waiting for a wrong order last time. Today my Sunday roast may have been on a warm plate but everything was cold! After waiting ages for the waitress to appear with the sauces we had asked for I sent my meal back. My husband had finished his food by the time my dinner came. I asked for more gravy, for some reason finding myself apologising for being a pain. The waitress forgot and a second dinner went cold. I had to get up and go find the waitress to remind her. When it came to getting the bill and asking for this to be reflected, the waitress practically pulled a face as she said "but I got you a whole fresh one". My reply was "yes and I then had to wait for more gravy so that went cold also". She said she couldn't do anything with the price. I asked to speak to the manager, who never emerged. We did get 20% off. But an apology would have been nice also and less of the attitude from the waitress. I never complain at restaurants, I've often eaten meals which were a bit dodge to avoid the awkwardness but today, when I was looking forward to a meal with my husband and daughter (ie eating at the same time!) I was not counting on having a debate about it with the waitress. We will not be returning.

I took a party of eleven for lunch. 45 mins to get someone to take our order.
Over an hour for the food to arrive after twice asking. When it did arrive it was cold. 35 day matured steak! 35 day wait for it to arrive more like!.

I'll take responsibility for this trip .. Should've learnt from the ropey experiences before but gave you guys another chance. Simple order yet multiple issues, nobody seems to understand how to cook steak correctly, cowboy burger with extra bacon presented with 1 piece of bacon & no cheese ďż˝ Comedians. Again, not the first time so my own fault for returning - will not make the same mistake.
