Free parking, lots of different walks for variation & a chance to allow the dog off lead, picnic area, bins for waste and dog waste dotted around. we can’t wait to return and explore it more!
Lovely place for a walk, short or long. Usually a van selling nice coffee, cake and dog treats there. Big fluffy cows can be seen here too!
First visit fir me and my furry friend and won’t be my last. Stunning place to walk and enjoy the countryside and plenty of places to leave Cerys of the lead. All parts of the reserve where Cerys had to be on the lead were clearly marked and given you explanations why. So you can enjoy your walk whi
A surprisingly lovely place to visit, especially if you need a stop on the A14. The car park is free (no toilets) and there is a refreshment van on-site at weekends. Lots of different walks, but bring wellies as it’s super muddy. Brilliant for walking dogs on a circa 5k loop, family friendly and ver
Easy to find and free parking! Lovely walks, perfect for dog walking. If you're there at the right time there is a lady in a van serving cakes and coffee (and doggie ice cream!). If you struggle with noise sensitivity, avoid the woodland trail as it runs parallel to the motorway and the noise can be
Oh we love it here! Beautiful and scenic for dog walks. Choose a short walk or longer amble. Car park is free of charge. On the weekends there is a coffee van which has several dairy free milk options. Bins available for dog poo!
This is a good place to walk, it has a varied terrain. I like the forests at the rear of the park and the walk back from them to the car park. The site is free to enter, has free parking, but no toilets.
Lots of lovely footpaths to explore. Dogs can be offlead for most of it. Some cattle in a field so avoided that this time and enjoyed the woods instead. Boardwalk area can get quite slippery after it's rained so sensible shoes with grip needed
This is a nice small park which is very popular with dog walkers. Lovely coffee van on site sells doggie ice cream. Bit noisy where it goes alongside the A14 but well worth a visit
If you enjoy walking in an area that offers a choice paths, open fields, and woodlands, this is one to try. Some of the footpaths are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, but otherwise it's great, and it's free!
