Managed to get a table walking in on a Sunday. Really convenient walking distance from Kew Gardens. Staff were friendly and food arrived pretty quickly. The steak and ale pie was really good, as was the mash. My partner really enjoyed her vegetarian roast too. Atmosphere is lovely, something quite nice about being able to watch the trains going past while eating.

What a great spot and a lovely pub. The indoor seating area has a large glass window and a direct view of the platform and station - it was cool to watch the trains come and go. The front outside has a lovely sheltered courtyard with lots of plants. Felt like we were on the streets on holiday somewhere. Good selection of beers on tap and lots of gins for a summer day. Nice decor and toilets. Didn’t eat but the food we saw looked lovely.

A really nice pub. We visited here after Kew Gardens for food. The atmosphere/decor was nice. I like being so close to the platform, a bonus for people watchers! The service is very good and the staff are friendly. We ordered the fish and chips and a shandy. Everything was very delicious and well cooked. The portion was also very good. There is also a good range of drinks. The food is more gastro pub but still has traditional options as well. Worth a visit! :)

Nice pub, directly next to the Highbury train station. It has a beer garden, outside space & the actual pub/bar & dining area. You can see the station from the windows, which is kind of cool. Great atmosphere, nice staff. The pub is accessible to the wheelchairs but the toilets are downstairs. There was a baby changing table in the ladies. Families welcomed. The drinks were standard cost £, food was expensive.

Very nice Sunday lunch here today with very friendly helpful service. We were a little late so my only criticism was that the roast pork was on the dry side sadly, like it had been sat in a warm oven drying out for a while. Quite a fun spot to eat though, right by the train line at Kew and beware, it does tend to be popular with parents with babies so can get quite screechy on a Sunday.

I came over from abroad recently and stayed with friends in Kew. They introduced me to this pub adjacent to Kew Gardens train station. I went there three days in a row, met some fascinating characters from all walks of life, drank some good English ale and had a fine Sunday roast for the first time in 50 years. If ever you're in Kew, pop in there - it's certainly worth it!

Very nice pub just attached to Kew Gardens Station. Quality food, well presented. Staff is nice. If you want to eat there I would suggest to book in advance.

An easy six and a half stars for The Tap on the Line at Kew Station. Presented to us by Fuller's. This is apparently the only pub actually on an underground line. I'd love to find another. Great fun, great beer and a lovely building. Service is brilliant and noone takes themselves too seriously. An ideal stop off for a pint before the train.

Just popped in for a drink while waiting for for someone. Really nicely done pub with a great selection of beers - both local and European (everything from local Twickenham to some superb Belgian Trappist beers).

Will be popping back soon from the look of the food going out and the menu - a wild boar burger or london porter smoked salmon sound incredible!!
