Wouldn't find me eating a curry from anywhere else, superb bit of food from this place and great service
We ordered a takeaway for four people last night. We were all really impressed with the food. (Mushroom rice, Purple Tiger, cheese naan, cheese and chilli naan, Peshwari, chicken shaslick, chicken bhuna and Long prawn tandoori.)
One of us, who is a tad curry-shy, said he'd happily eat his King Prawn tandoori again as he was so impressed.
I had a tailor made chicken bhuna. A side effect of a medication means I can no longer tolerate heat/chilli. I thought I'd be stuck with a korma from now on.
However speaking to the staff at EoI, they were more than happy to make my beloved bhuna in a mild form for me.
The flavours were still there - just without the heat. I really appreciated them doing so - and without fuss.
We use EoI whenever we are in Keynsham for a take away and have always loved the food. I felt I should review this time because of their service in modifying my curry and their general helpfulness.
Thank you for a delicious curry :)
We live local, and although there are plenty of Indian restaurants, this has to be a hidden gem.
Polite friendly manner, delicious well catered for food, never a bad curry. All in all a total hit! Bravo! 10/10
Excellent food and excellent service. Highly recommend x
Totally delicious food and great service. Undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant in keynsham.
Very nice, reasonably priced and nice polite service! Best in the area i would say!
Amazing food & lovely staff, simply the best.
Best Indian for miles. Staff really friendly! Never let us down..
Always excellent service and fab food!
Really nice place cosy and food was good really taste
Very good all round food and atmosphere. Highly recommended!! Chicken Dohari. Lovely!!
Had some really nice food here, friendly efficient service. This was my first visit and I will certainly come back!
Came here for my mums 50th surprise birthday meal, everything and I mean everything was bespoke for us. We have family members with a lot of dietary needs, and Alom and the Empire of India team smashed it with making sure we were well looked after.
We had our own (hidden) space to add to the surprise meal, the team turned the music down to cater for my autistic nephew and then the food was bang on point! Prawn puri is definitely my fave starter, we love spice in my family so we ordered an array of naga dishes, and I was really riling for a karahi that day, every single craving was hit. My wife is a brummy so she's fussy about her curries, but since then we've been back 2 - 3 times for the garlic chilli king prawns with a chilli coriander naan and chips!
Prices are REALLY good too, they are barely hiking up their prices unlike other restaurants and takeaways!
Well done team, I'm sure my wife and I will see you soon ;)
I had a fantastic meal at empire of India , I have heard so much about this little gem of a restaurant and thought it was time to take the plunge I have to say that I was not disappointed the food was absolutely delicious and fresh , the staff was super helpful and also allowed me to make my own amendments to my curry which is always a good sign that the food is cooked fresh unlike certain award winning Indian restaurants who have all the food pre cooked and the food comes out at an alarming rate , as for what we eat well for starter we had chicken tikka , tandoori chicken and a chicken chat all starters were superb, for mains we had chicken dohari, balti chicken tikka sag and chicken makati all delicious accompanied with sag pointer, cash aloo, egg rise, keema rice with keema nan and cheese nan all delicious and we will certainly return
delicious food with a warm and friendly atmosphere, absolutely love visiting!
I am not a Big fan of Indian food but we had a group booking and the majority love it so I went along and was happily surprised. I had a chicken sizzler (new dish to my knowledge) and it was brilliant tandoori cooked chicken was delicious moist and flavourful. Staff were brilliant a big group of 10 and everyone was looked after we had a really good time. Great place actually look forward to going back
Polite and friendly staff, outstanding food, great atmosphere. The best Indian I’ve ever tried
Always amazing food and the staff go above and beyond every time for eat in or takeaway. Highly recommend and wouldn’t go anywhere else
Wonderful restaurant! Great decor, comfort and lovely staff. The food is incredible - cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. The menu is extensive and caters to everyone. Great value, too! Looking forward to visiting again soon!
Loved our evening here the staff were lovely so patient and friendly. You can take your own alcohol, but most importantly the food was delicious. Would have 5 stars but the desserts were limited due to a stock issue. Empire of India is a must visit for all ages.
Amazing food & staff so friendly & accommodating ⭐
Just experienced a superb meal, absolutely delicious, with a very extensive menu. Lovely decor and surroundings very tastefully done. Lovely welcoming and friendly helpful staff. Soft drinks can be ordered but take your own alcoholic drinks. It's certainty worth more visits.
Lovely food, great service and very reasonably priced. Will definitely come back again soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Five ⭐️ I really enjoy the food proper tasty best Indian restaurant Bristol and great services trust me you got to try the food out!
Had a really lovely meal. Both tasty and spicy. The staff here are really friendly, from the overheard banter and chat appear to know their customers and it's was a lovely atmosphere. It has no alcohol licence so it's a BYO but there are a couple of small supermarkets very close by so no problems there. After 2 years of curry disappointment in this area have we found THE place ? Probably. Will edit this review after our next visit which I am already looking forward to.
Food was good decor could be upgraded but it is the food that matters and fairly priced.
