This is a brilliant place the hosts and the staff are first class done me and my wife proud on our wedding 1st Sept would 100 percent recommend the salutation food and drink top class
First visit to this pub. Lovely food, super friendly waitress. Reasonable price too. Highly worth a visit!
We had a lovely meal here yesterday (Sunday). We arrived around 1.30pm and were able to find a seat straight away, with the waitress coming to take our orders promptly. All food (2 soups, roast and lasagne) was served in a good time, hot and was lovely. We will definitely be back.
This is the first time we have been in the Salutation since it was refurbished last year. Originally we planned to just pop in for a quick drink but ended up having a meal. The whole experience was very nice. The Landlord and Landlady were both very friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent and the pub was very clean. We will definitely be going again and would recommend anyone who hasn't been to give it a try.
Had 2 lovely meals here since it changed over, love the ranch burger! We could not feel more welcome. It's a lovely environment, all the staff are amazing! The selection of different drinks and food now is much better. I'm a regular customer from both previously and now.
Been elsewhere for Sunday dinner for a long while but thort we'd have a change and try the sal it was gorgeous we enjoyed every bit of Sunday lunch big enough portions and very tasty got our custom every week now .
Came for Sunday lunch with family for farewell meal for brother, Mark, who is off to Cyprus to work. Had a lovely lunch of roast beef with all the trimmings apart from the roast potatoes which were rather well done! Apple crumble and custard for pud - 😋. No complaints, staff all very friendly and polite. Would definitely visit again.
8 of us went in last night and all of us enjoyed great meals, the service was excellent, staff friendly, meals were hot and served together, had a great time, thank you Stacey and all the staff, we will all be coming again.

Excellent pub with a wide range of well kept beers. It's a friendly atmosphere and beer garden make it perfect all year round. A TV with live sports is all ways in view and they provide a fantastic array of live musical talent! 10 out of 10
Just had Christmas dinner at the Salutation and i was very impressed with the meal as all the courses we're superb and well presented. All the staff we're very helpful as nothing was to much trouble.

You would be hard pressed to find better food and drinks at sensible prices anywhere else in Nottingham.
Been so many times and never been disappointed. I'm sure I speak for many when I say Debbie and Graham will be sadly missed. Best of luck for the future to both.
Recently refurbished, very sympathetically done out inside with a lovely atmosphere of a modern, yet traditional village pub. Great range on the bar including some nice real ales. Loved it!!
Recently reopened after a refurbishment. New management have got the feel of the place spot on. Hope the food's the same standard when they start serving again next month

What a lovely village pub. Great décor, lovely staff and a fine selection of ale's.
This bar was quite compared to others we had been in. The ceiling had the dark wooden beams which made the inn look olde worldy. Not a bad inn enjoyed our drinks and managed to get a seat.

Went here with friends and two young dogs we were made very welcome. We had the Sunday lunch which was lovely and not too expensive.
We did the British pub quiz and even though we didn't win we all enjoyed it.will return again.
Very nice & clean place, staff were excellent, smoking aria was warm 🙂, food was hot and tasty, beers were cold and glasses were clean. Have tried about 15 pubs in the aria and this one was one of the best. Keep up the good work!
We had lunch here at around 1.45pm last Friday. It was fairly quiet but reception from the staff was warm and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised to find it's table service in this village pub. Service was excellent, food was also great.
Good choice of food from the menu plus a specials board. Although this was my first time eating here it definitely won't be the last.
