Apart from the Italian moody guy staff are usually ok but I wouldn't say friendly to everyone of every creed.
Coffee is better priced than rival Costa across the road and better quality.
Comfortable and pleasant decor and outdoor area great in sunny days.
Always very friendly at this particular CN. Otherwise is like most CN. Great if you like their coffee. This one has a little row of tables outside so I could enjoy my brew in the sun.
Lovely cortado coffee Brazilian blend , also really nice cakes to choose from good service friendly staff , lots of seats and tables very clean highly recommend this cafe nero

The lady with the tattoos was so friendly and made the best black forest mocha! I could stand and chat to her for ages - thank you for brightening my day! Always amazing service in here.

Food/ drinks are what you'd typically expect from Nero.
5 stars go for the service, which manages to keep the space clean, take and execute orders even if they seem to be outnumbered in most of my visits. Sometimes there's only one person around!
Perhaps the owner should consider to hire more staff
Friendly staff literally always, never a bad egg. The coffee is great and I personally enjoy the hot chocolate! Always nice to rest your feet from shopping and grab a drink and bite to eat 👍🏻
A bit too dark, but helpful staff.
Excellent coffee as usual but service was slow on the day of our visit. Two staff in store, one taking orders and preparing drinks, the other clearing tables, washing up and cleaning toilets.
Both staff were busy but the queue was easily 6 customers long. Some extra help would have been welcome.
Went into Cafe Nero today for the first time in years, and I'm not quite sure why I haven't been more often. The service was better than it's nearby rival and the coffee was nicer too, although the interior did look like it could do with a refurb.
We did also have food which was expensive for what
Nice place and good service. Coffee is good and cake also. Comfortable seating but cig smoke wafts in from outside which is a no, no for us.
However, just as good as Costa across the way and far better service than Coffee#1 round the corner.
Had a takeaway, nice and drink was good too.
Just feels nice to sit down and relax with a cup of coffee here.

The staff are excellent here which goes a long way in helping to make those very important cappuccino moments special! It's cleaned often and they have great coffee and snacks here, which always taste fresh. Some really comfy nice seating too. Location is also good.
