Review Parc Y Bocs Farm Shop & Cafe - Kidwelly

Beautiful place to stop. Chickens and llamas to see and a childrens play park which is a decent size. Pet store and cafe above with a lovely menu and really nice food. We had the special pork and apple sauce bap with chips. The homemade cakes and giant cookies were to die for! Food and drinks quick and service was great. Can't fault it and a little win when visiting Camarthen Bay Holiday Park.

The cafe was good with nice coffee and cake selection. The play area was good for the kids which kept them occupied during the stay. The shop was ok but was hoping to see more produce however we did get what we wanted.

Great customer service yesterday from Joseph who went above and beyond to help us sort our dog ‘s digestive problem. He’s an asset to your business, so polite and helpful. Also Paris who joined in the discussion later. Great service from both .

Stopped off on the way into Kidwelly as we fancied an ice cream and somewhere for the kids to play. A nice selection of ice cream in the shop and reasonably priced. The play area kept the kids occupied for quite a while. The grounds are immaculately kept and very clean. As well as the play area, there is a small garden alongside this and also an area with chickens that you can feed. Didn't get time to look around the farm shop but will next time as definitely would return.

First visit to Parc Y Bocs since just after Covid when the cafe was closed. So we called in today for lunch with our Border Terrier Gwen , what a great place to eat and with a dog friendly area so she could be with us and she loved it. Food was lovely and staff were great. Lovely touch as the owner brought a bag of treats for all the dogs that were there. Happy to say that Gwen has had Burns grain free dog food for a good few years.

Great farm shop and cafe. Farm shop more focussed on pet products. Grounds are really well kept. Play area too. When we visited it was very rainy so could not use that area. Cafe is dog friendly. Food is excellent value and a great selection of cakes. One of our party is coeliac and there was sufficient choice for them too. Very good experience.

Absolutely superb little place to visit with children or your pooch. Beautifully kept animals to see, beautiful gardens and fantastic play area for the kiddos! It's just fabulous and free. Really gorgeous tea rooms and gorgeous breakfast. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Such a great place to visit, and great for kids and people who love animals and the outdoors. Inside there's a farm shop with lots of gifts as well as day to day food. There's a gift shop with a range of items - great for presents for kids as well as locally made crafts. Upstairs is a lovely café and restaurant which is also accessible from the car park on ground level if you can't manage the stairs. They have a selection of hot meals, light bites and cakes. The prices are reasonable. They give a generous amount of sandwich filling! The cakes are delicious too. They have toilet facilities upstairs and downstairs, and dogs are welcome in most areas.

We were staying nearby in Llansaint and spotted this gem on our trips out. Popped in for lunch and were not disappointed. All the food was piping hot, freshly prepared and very tasty. We even had chance to speak with the owner who is a lovely gentleman and offered us some great advice about dog nutrition. There is a well stocked shop and outdoor areas for a stroll or for children to have a play. Lovely views across to Pembray from upstairs. We will certainly be returning for a breakfast before heading back home.

The shop was a little empty for our liking not much meat was available we did go at 3pm so maybe there is more to choose from earlier on other than that the place is perfect for families and people who just want a relaxing atmosphere.

Great food and helpful service in the restaurant. Disabled well catered for with easy access from rear car park or lift from ground floor to restaurant. Shop well stocked. All in pleasant garden surroundings.

Gorgeous park and grounds. Cafe is lovely and staff are very friendly. Mr Burns himself was there on the day we attended and gave my sister some wonderful advice about her Frenchie and some samples of food.

This is a short drive from the monthly Kidwelly market in the town centre, where we sang as a choir and we shopped at the wide range of stalls. We were welcomed at Parc Y Bocs Farm Shop for lunch. Don't be afraid to ask them to adapt the menu. The food is delicious and there's lots of it. Our vegan and veggie friends had plenty of choice too. The cake portions are big and very tasty!

Love this place. Staff are super friendly, lovely products in the shop, many organic options also. Cafe is clean and food is good. Lovely book corner for children while they wait for food. Family and dog friendly. Can spend a few hours there, playing in park, feeding the chickens, visiting the alpacas, using the farm shop and grabbing a coffee or/and food upstairs. They do so lovely events. We went to the Xmas event today and it was fabulous. Well done to all the amazing staff that make it the awesome place it is.

I went to the play area with my toddler yesterday and I noticed a few flaws in the design. Firstly The swings were far too close to the toddler area, so when there were children swinging they were at risk of hitting smaller children trying to get in and out of the toddler area. The tractor climbing frame was Good, however the metal slide got so hot in the sun that the children were unable to go down it. And also, none of the picnic benches were in any shade so they could do with a parasol or two as it was a really hot, sunny day so we couldn't stay as long as I'd hoped to. I don't wish to suggest that it's not worth visiting because it is a great play area, but these are just a few things I noticed that let the place down. The toilet and baby changing facilities were great and the shop was good also. All the staff were helpful and I loved the addition of the picnic box outside too.

Love this place. Tasty homemade food, great value for money. I visit regularly with and without my dog and each time, the staff and atmosphere are brilliant. Highly recommend. Look forward to PYB expanding their menu though!

Food was delicious and very well priced but the best thing about our visit was the views and the staff. Very friendly environment with views to die for 🙏

Totally fantastic meals, wonderful staff both in the cafe and shop with the added extra of a play area for kids with beautiful alpacas to see! Best of all dogs are welcome... love it

My daughter visits here often with her Godparents and loves it. I have been twice. First visit was excellent, waitress was wonderful as we were a large group ordering food and drinks, two of us being very fussy eaters so had very precise individual requirements which wasn't a problem at all. Everything tasted lovely and not a thing wrong with our order for 10 people. Second visit was slightly different...food excellent but took 30 minutes to order drinks only because I went to the till and asked for a menu myself. Waitress was lovely but drinks took another 20 minutes! Beautiful food , again wasn't a problem with me changing parts of the menu they were most accomadating. Stayed for cakes only to wait another 30 minutes again, ended up going to the counter to ask if they had forgotten. Beautiful venue, lovely food and will definitely be returning but maybe more staff needed as it's obviously a popular place?? Shop was excellent and the lady on the till was excellent. Well done on this lovely venue x

Friendly, helpful and efficient service offering tasty meals from home grown and made local products in a comfortable dining area with pleasant views. Easy to find, Parc y Bocs is a splendid addition to the Kidwelly side of the Gwendraeth and has wide family appeal. The shop offers plenty of doggy wares, organic and healthy option foodstuffs.
