It was really nice actually. Simple menu on the wall of what you can get, and a wide range of milkshake and ice cream. The savoury waffles are very tasty, and likewise with the sweet ones. The coffee was surprisingly good and tea still had tea bag in to make as strong as you like.. it was covid secure, with windows to open as you please and wooden cutlery and cardboard serving boxes, happy to see that the cutlery wasn't disposable plastic, though metal would've been better obviously.

nice scons & brownies with a good cup of tea, lovely views of the reservoir while you eat and drink. A 4 quid for a scone and tea but the location and view is worth the price.

The cafe is in a great location, very biker friendly and has a fair choice of food & drinks. It can get quite busy at peak times so a bit of patience may be required...

A little pricey but an utterly indulgent experience. Perhaps if we promised ourselves a ten mile walk after to burn off the extra calories, we could justify visiting more often!
