Had the pleasure of dropping in at lunchtime for a tasting plate to share, along with a glass of Stellenbosch wine. Both the food and wine were superb and the experience was enriched further by a lengthy chat with Ross. Stop by, you won’t regret it!

Lovely roadside stop at Falls of Dochart. We ordered one tasting plate and it was plenty for 2! The gooseberry wine and recommended cider were crisp and tart, and a nice accompaniment to the varieties of smoked salmon. Loved this place!

We love stopping off at the wonderful Falls of Dochart and always visit Ross's wee shop and restaurant at the rear of the famous Inn which overlooks the falls.
It's a hidden gem. Home-smoked hot and cold salmon , smoked Kintyre cheese and Glenturret Whisky and Gin !

Popped in the smokehouse after seeing the falls. We were just going to buy some smoked salmon but ended up buying gin, whisky and smoked salmon pate as well! The pate is the best I've had.....delicious. Thank you

We just enjoyed the Falls smokehouse. The foods, and drink was tremendous and inviting. We stopped here on our Smart Tours itinerary and found the stop to in be interesting and in finest tradition of Scottish hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful time!! This location is not be missed!!

Hidden gem in the town ✨️ we came to see the falls and we couldn't resist and followed the beautiful smell which made us hungry all the time during the visit. Had a wee tasting, and all was freshly made, and absolutely delicious 😋 smoked salmon pate was just mouth-watering and salmon itself 🧡 omg lush, you can't find anything like this in the ordinary shop. It's definitely worth the money 😋

Thoroughly enjoyed a superb sharing platter - absolutely delicious (so was my G&T!). The shops sells lots of local produce and the dining areas (both inside and out) were ideal. A beautiful place to visit ❤️

We visited the Smokehouse and purchased some of their local produce, smoked salmon. The gentleman kindly gave our kids free handmade biscuits to take away which they loved. A wonderful selection of local products and great to see a restaurant like it in Killin. Keen to visit, without the kids though! They also have three pods to sit outside and enjoy a meal and drinks, which I can see would be popular especially in the summer months
