There were 6 of us and we all were pleased with the meal and the Service was good , they got one drink wrong but it was corrected right away no problem .
Food was really hot and freshly cooked and the staff could not have done any more for us . They were all friendly and even made a special sweet gluten free for my wife . Really cool , how many busy restaurants would bother to set up one sweet gluten free which wasn't one the menu . Full marks to the chef , we will be back

Beautiful place to enjoy your meal with a view...very serene.
Staff are lovely...food is gorgeous and reasonable.
Due to a problem with transportation my friends and myself were half an hour late for my hen party dinner. The staff were so helpful and accommodating and they held the table for us and made sure that we were all catered for. The food was lovely and the setting is beautiful! Would definitely return xx

Sunday lunch was good, fairly priced, brilliant portions, lovely location, friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a slightly unique dining experience.
On arrival we were warmly welcomed. Food was delicious and staff were really pleasant. The restaurant is in a beautiful location. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. First class!
Fabulous food, amazing views & fantastic staff. Love this place so much
Great place to relax and watch the world go by, food always excellent.
We were recommended to visit this lovely restaurant by several people and we weren't disappointed. It's set in a beautiful waterside location and has a beautiful view across Strangford Lough. As evening draws in, the sunset is stunning! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were all warm and friendly. A highly recommended place to visit, you need to book to reserve a table during busy times.
We had a drink looking at the nice view watching the tide go out. Dinner was nice. We had the apple salad to start which was lovely. The fillet steak was slightly overcooked, however they reduced the bill to compensate. The smoked cod was excellent. Lovely profiteroles with ice cream. With a bottle of Muscadet to complement the fish.
Took a friend for impromptu birthday lunch.
There were no tables available in the restaurant proper with lough view, but we were seated in the bar area, and fully accommodated for baby's pram.
A great selection on the lunch menu with daily specials, including non-fish dishes.
I made the most of eating without hubby and had squid starter and scampi as a main course.
The food was fresh and flavoursome.
Delicious! Will definitely return
Service was prompt, friendly and courteous.
Toilets were clean and well stocked.
My partner and I stopped in here for an early dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food arrived very quickly.
The portions are very generous, and the quality is fantastic!
There is no other place like it in Northern Ireland, when it comes to atmosphere, surroundings and type of food served. Will definitely be back!

Visited for the first time in about 10 years for lunch on Saturday - the venue is lovely, the views spectacular, the food and service were outstanding and was great value for money. Can't wait til my next visit - hopefully won't be another 10 years
What's not to like about this place? Great food, excellent location next to the Lough with a superb view, nice ambience, affordable prices ... and I could go on forever. Tried the fish and chips and lamb shoulder which were both beautifully made. Perfect for special occasions. Pre-booking a must due to popularity.
Fabulous food at a beautiful countryside haunt. Reasonably priced, quick and polite service. N.B. some of the photos are from a walk nearby, I would recommend taking a stroll in the locality before recovering in Daft Eddy's.
One of Northern Ireland's hidden gems which we adore every time we go whether to the cafe at Little Eddy's or the main restaurant. Admittedly the cafe is tough to get into at the weekends because its really popular but there is nothing more calming than chilling out on one of their picnic tables in the garden.
Sunday dinner was great last weekend in the restaurant, a great feed with fantastic and friendly service. Thank you - can't wait for our next visit!
A beautiful view and setting on a sunny day!
A wonderfully relaxed dining experience with a beautiful view, good food and friendly service.
Beautiful sunny day what better place to go for lunch. Surroundings are outstanding right on the lough, we got there just before the mad lunchtime crowd arrived from all directions. The food was delicious, the ladies had the potato and leek soup which they both raved about whilst the two men had the pulled pork sandwich with side salad which was also delicious washed down with a couple of pots of tea. Really enjoyable lunch in beautiful surroundings will definitely be back soon.
