Would say its the best Indian/Nepalese restaurant in Kilsyth and local areas.
Dining in- Welcoming host upon arrival and great service.
Feels like a personal service as it has a smaller dining space, better for dining to have conversion with family, friends or business meetings.
Restaurant is clean, cosy and food is amazing as well as the price.
(No wheelchair access, difficult for people that struggle with stairs.)
Only ever had takeaways but usually have them weekly. Easily the best Indian takeaway in the area. The king prawns are enormous, everything is fresh. The staff are friendly and helpful and the drivers are great too 11/10
We found this by accident. The food is excellent, the staff are really friendly and you don’t feel rushed to order.

Good selection of veg dishes, tried chana masala and it was very good. Chicken chat were amazing n also the butter chicken. Absolutely loved the food n will order again.
I'd given 10 stars if I could & im not easy pleased.. everything was excellent from start to finish.. Great prices too .. pre theatre menu is great value .. this is the best Indian food I've had since I was 16 im 59 now... top quality.. Will definitely be back 100%.
First time trying Himali, was very impressed. The starters of fish pakora and onion bhaji were plentiful, my partners chicken tikka masala was excellent, as was my chicken jaipuri. All food was delivered on time and was piping hot, can’t give the Himali enough praise. Please keep up the excellent work.
Also the young man who delivered our order was polite and respectful.
We had another sit in meal last night and have had several take aways delivered. The food has been top class every time and the atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and friendly with very helpful staff.
You would probably pay double for this standard if it was in the city centre.
Glad we booked ahead as the place was full and deservedly so.
Highly recommended in our book.
My husband and I had a really lovely meal tonight. We had Tandoori Mix & South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken. Absolutely delicious and great value for money. Lovely atmosphere & staff are really friendly and welcoming. It was quite busy, there was a good buzz about the place. We've had a few takeaway's from here as well and the food is always amazing. The Butter Chicken is superb 🙌😋

I look forward to visiting, hopefully soon. Reading the reviews I have got to say I have never eaten here with New management, But I have eaten when the Gulistan. Quite a few times , and mostly to my disappointment my meal so many times was way under cooked. Even raw at times. So Cheers 🍻. Wishing tou the very Best 👌
We have had 4 takeaways the past 2 months and each time the food was just perfect. We have tried different dishes each time and I can honestly say, each one was lovely. So glad we have this restaurant in our town. Would recommend 200%.
Best food in the area guys can't do enough to make your visit first class
Second visit to Himali and yet again we were very pleased with it. Very helpful friendly service, comfortable relaxed atmosphere and delicious food.
We went for my partners birthday and staff very kindly agreed to surprise her by bringing out her cake with candles after our meal. Everyone the proceeded to sing happy birthday to her. Despite being embarrassed, she felt very honoured and it made a perfect end to her day so thank you all at Himali once again 🥰
Honestly the best Indian food I have tasted in 20years. The chicken tikka curry and garlic nan bread is phenomenal. I have had a few takeaways from here now and everytime it has been amazing. I will defo be going in sometime soon for a sit in meal and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good Indian food. 👍200% rating from me x
Had our first sit in last night and weren't disappointed. Food was to the usual high standard, Isla and Sunder were very helpful and attentive. Back to takeaways for the time being but we'll be back!

This is a proper treat. I absolutely love the Tandoori Prawns and the Coconut Naan.
As an ex chef I can honestly say, this is a top top top place.
The spinach and mushroom curry with prawns. Omg.
And as I often say to your delivery driver "buonjurno!" 😆
Lovely, hot, freak and tasty Indian food. Best Butter Chicken I've ever had! Staff were efficient. Toilets are immaculate.
In here for dinner last night to celebrate Stewart 60th birthday and did not disappoint. The meal was superb as was the service and very accommodating re ballon’s cake etc. great wee restaurant right on our doorstep, no mucking about looking for taxis…..win win. Thanks for everything Himal
