Traditional English pub with a warm welcome. Situated in a idyllic village just off the village green the Kings Arms offers home cooked food and a well stocked bar.We would recommend the fish and chips in beer batter....so nice. Well done to all the people who run this local pub!!!!

Lovely sunday roast dinner at a reasonable price. Dog friendly, and very helpful staff. Food was delicious and it had a great atmosphere. Would suggest reserving a table ahead of time as it gets busy.

This a lovely pub situated in a very pretty village. The bar has a great range of real ales. There is an ever changing dining menu, all of which sound delicious. I had a starter of chicken goujons with a festive mayonnaise dip. For my main course I had the the beef and ale pie, mange tout and new potatoes. The pie had beautiful rich gravy and a light shortcrust pastry top. The bar staff were very pleasant and polite. I can't fault the place. I will certainly be visiting here again!

Astonishing. Midwinter needs great food and beer. Poppy loved it for the free dog biscuits, Jane for the handwritten sign and a massive slab of Biscoff Tart. Everyone happy and the chance to walk it all off at the wonderful Shouldham Warren. Hidden gems....Early Summer now, and the warren, voluptuous, welcoming

Lovely country pub, cosy vibe and appears to have been recently renovated. Decent prices and nice food, as well as the staff being mind and helpful

Busy pub on a Thursday lunch time. I enjoyed my fish and chips. Dog friendly. Pleasant decor and helpful service.

Nice little ye olde pub with a pleasant grassy beer garden plus a covered outdoor area. Didn't try the food but it looked good and was proving popular with the many locals in attendance the night of my visit

Fantastic village pub, all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent every time we visited with a great selection. Real ales were different most night which went down very well.
We visited 5 nights out of 7. Highly recommended.

Had a nice cold pint in the lovely beer garden after walking the dog at Shouldham Warren. Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere and very dog friendly 🐕

Food was good and good value for money. They have a real chimney and allow dogs in their restaurant area in the evening. We spent £60 between the 4 of us, mains and drinks. They were decent portions. I would go again and would recommend.

Lovely old pub, cod in beer batter and chips was delicious. Limited parking on site but street parking outside.

Popped in for a quick coffee before meeting with a colleague, lovely friendly staff, nice to find some non-dining seating next to the real fire and a good coffee. Should check out the food at this popular village pub next time.

A high hygiene standard, both with staff and premises. A very enjoyable and relaxing meal.

In a lovely setting on the Green with nice garden and colourful bench seating. Very dog friendly inside and out. Attentive friendly bar and waiting staff. Great choice of gins!
Food, depending on choice, is very good (pies) but a bit on the high side. However, my meal was spoiled by luke warm, dry chips which tasted like they had been re-heated from the night before. Yuck. They really need to sort this out as chips are the mainstay of some meals and should be fresh, hot and tasty. No discount was offered.

What a super community pub and restaurant in Shouldham near Kings Lynn where we had lunch today. The staff were happy, very friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our food which was tasty and with sensible portion sizes leaving room for dessert.

The queue for the Ferris wheel was quite long (20 minutes) but once we got up there, the view over the fjord was stupendous. Richard the car park attendant was very courteous and showed us the best place to park on the promenade. All in all, a great day out for 200 quid. (That's a pony and a bag of...hooves...)
James Crouchman
Really friendly and welcoming place. Massive portions of food. And the beer was superb, perfectly kept local ales tapped straight from the barrel.

Just backing up what my other half put below.
Lovely building. Lovely food and choices, made really welcome and all the staff were lovely too without being in your face. Other places could learn a lot by being like this.
Something for the summer, really nice garden / patio area at back. Be great for alfresco dining.
Busy (always a good sign) but not claustrophobic.
My 1st visit despite only about 5 miles from our house.
We'll definitely be back and if it's always this good it'll high on our list of places to go.
Great advert for any village taking over the local if it looks likely to go.

Food was excellent, I recommend the pie. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Lovely setting, we ate in the garden. Chef knocked up some gravy with no issues when I asked for some but would have been nice to be offered the dessert menu when our plates were cleared.

Lovely local pub that makes you feel very welcome... great beer too. Live music in the beer garden and dog friendly.

We went here in the evening last week and had the most delicious steak pie and pork belly meal. I had a tiny problem with my meal and the staff were more than helpful. We Went to the Beer and Cider Festival on the Sunday and decided to have the lunchtime roast. This again was a lovely meal with generous portions. We had our Grandaughter with us and she was given paper and pencils to keep her occupied at the table which brought out the artist in her. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Such a lively and friendly place. The gin list is awesome and the food is absolutely amazing.

Evening meal for hubby, mum and me (holidaying in the village). Amazing food and great ambience. Hubby had haddock fishcakes, I had wild mushroom linguine and Mum had mushroom soup -all clearly homemade and So tasty! Desserts on order if we have room. Highly recommend a visit here!

With my husband and our friend we enjoyed a very good meal on Saturday evening at The Kings Arms in Shouldham. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again.

Probably the best Sunday lunch in Norfolk with the warm welcome great food never go home hungry
David Hodkinson
Lovely pub situated on the village green with a quiet garden behind, food looked good from what I saw but oh dear the beer. Considering this is a CAMRA award winning pub there were only 2 ales on tap served from the cask behind the bar, one was the ubiquitous bland dishwater Woodfordes Wherry and the other a thin mild like beer from Beeston brewery. Come on chaps theres 40 plus breweries in Norfolk you can do better than that surely. Very disappointed.
Rachel Hughes-Green
We had a wonderful time in the Kings Arms Shouldham, thank you for such a lovely atmosphere and great friendly service, the menu is beautiful too! It was just what we needed, to get out with friends, drink great beer and prosecco and eat fantastic food, veggie food too, yes! Really so good to have great veggie options offered! We will be back as soon as we can!
