First time visiting after some loverly reports. Certainly was a bustling hive of activity when we arrived. Table wasn't quite ready then again we were 30 mins early, welcomed on entrance and seated in the waiting area near the bar - the only thing with that was you sat directly opposite a table watching people eat.
Within 10mins the table was ready (ahead of time) and we were lead into a side room. Nicely decorated with low lighting to set the mood....... now this set the first challenge of how to read a very extensive menu with low lighting all I can say is thank god for the iPhone light.
Pleasant young waitress came and gave us a bottle of water albeit no glasses.
Opted for the Garlic & Chilly Shrimps and garlic mushrooms for starters and Mushroom burger and the classic mixed grill.
Simply fantastic all round, the mixed grill was cooked to perfection gammon melt in your mouth, steak cooked spot on, the lamb a little fatty but that's lamb for you but great flavour.
Like anything you can always find things to improve on especially as it's not on the cheap end of the market.
To me it's all about the experience but the food makes it all worth while without any shadow of a doubt. we will definitely be going back.
Absolutely quality meal, couldn’t fault the meal, the place or the very kind and friendly staff, nice atmosphere too. Strongly recommended place 👌🏻👍🏻

Myself, husband and son came here yesterday, hadn't booked a table but was seated straight away, we all ate from the set menu, all three courses were delicious, this is our second time here and it was good the first time and didn't disappoint this time, lovely friendly waitress, was her first week at Middleton's.
Lovely meal, great food, lovely staff and will definitely be returning!!

Myself and my husband had a lovely meal here on Valentines Day . The food was excellent as was the service would definitely recommend it .
This was our first visit and we will definitely visit again, we found the staff very friendly and helpful, food was very good and we all enjoyed our meals.
We have had really great food every time we've visited. Seafood, steaks, burgers, chicken, fish - all have tasted wonderful.
A good choice of drinks - if you're driving, they mix a mean mocktail and the Aperol Spritz' aren't bad either!
The service is always friendly and helpful and the seating is comfortable. One of my parents' absolute favourite eateries.
Good quality food, good service. However we visited on the jubilee bank holiday at 8pm and the place was very empty. Not always a good sign. 3 course meal was enjoyed. One big objection I have a 10% serviced charge was added to the bill automatically and you have to ask this to be taken off. I feel you shouldn’t have to do this. If you wish to leave a tip for good service then that is your choosing and not forced upon you. If the employer pays their employees good salaries then service charge shouldn’t be added. After all we as customers are keeping you in business.
Great food and very fast service, I had bbq chicken wings, 10oz rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce and a chocolate fondue. The staff always kept an eye on us to make sure we got everything we wanted, the music was also very good. Cold tap water on the table for when we sat down
Just had a really lovely meal here on a little new years break away. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Food came out in good time. Starters and main was tasty. Would recommend and come back again if we were ever in the area
We were looking for a place to stop for a quick bite, Google places close by, and found this place. What a catch.
The four of us were very satisfied with the food and service.
I ordered the Rib eye steak with potatoes. It was very tasty and cooked perfectly. My son had the cheese burger, which he ate so fast, enjoying every bite.
My husband had the Middletons burger, and it was a success!
Our fourth companion had the mushroom burger and she said it was the best burger she had !
So yes, we definitely recommend this place. Enjoy!
Booked a table for mum in law's birthday and what an excellent choice. Wonderful service and incredible food! Can't fault it and lovely atmosphere all around. Lots of parking too which is helpful. Will be returning soon for a Sunday roast!!
On arrival staff were very welcoming with all covid precautions followed.
Was seated by the window which was nice, plenty of light which created a relaxing atmosphere.
Drinks were offered very quickly and I chose the totally tropical cocktail which was delicious with the right ratio of ingredients.
Starter I went for the calamari which was cooked to perfection crispy and hot.
Mains was the classic mixed grill medium rare for myself which I have to say was just right.
Dessert happened to be banoffee pie which wasn't too sweet and a nice addition to the meal.
Fairly priced, clean and welcoming
Overall a really nice meal out.
Great steaks cooked just as we asked, friendly and attentive staff. Great desserts too.
Steaks were absolutely worth their money, Blue cheese sauce was a great option, salad was even good

Enjoyed my visit here. Staff where very kind and helpful. The Ale on tap was limited which is why I didn't give 5 stars. The car park is spacious and easily accessible if you're disabled. We took out 2 year old and a high chair was provided, with an activity book as well. We found the 3 course deal hard do decipher. Apart from this the steak was top quality and cooked to perfection.
Quiet for a Saturday. Service was quick and efficient. Food lovely, apart from the sundae. There was too much whipped cream and not a lot else. It was a fixed price menu dessert, but expected better.

Food was good but portions we not very generous, service was a bit rushed at the start however it improved and there wasn't too much atmosphere. Also the gent's toilet needed an overhaul.
Apart from that generally it was good and we had a really nice time. I would go back though despite my slightly critical review, however if we don't review honestly then things don't get a chance of changing, especially with places with premium prices🙃
Enjoying a delicious Sunday roast lunch with family. Unfortunately, a young child, probably tired, screamed persistently and very loudly which curtailed conversation between us. Nevertheless, the service was excellent.
