Now called The Partridge & well worth a visit. Sunday lunch is scrummy & you definitely need to book ahead, the telephone number is still the same. Give it a go.

Beautifull. Place and scenary the deers outside. On the grass even. Saw a pheasant sitting on the roadside beautifull. Row of plum colour looking trees sooo picturess

One of the best Sunday lunches we've had, quality food, beautifully presented and plenty of it....served on a 10" plate! A huge pate starter! Friendly staff and an overall very enjoyable dining experience. Only found it by working at a job in the village but will return and recommend it to others. 👍

What a nice meal! Just went in for tea and the food was great, big portions, couldn't even finish it all, really tasty and they treated us great! Definitely will go again!

Only time for one course but after a warm and friendly welcome, a short wait for a well presented and delicious meal. The portions were generous but quite frankly we were too full to manage a dessert anyway. Judging by the comments of the other diners they seemed well happy also.
All this at a very reasonable price too.
We will return.

Family friendly pub with a few proper ales an extensive menu and dining room. It was a hot sunny day when we visited and we had fish and chips with peas (mushy peas for me!) In the garden. A group of 'old boys' were discussing issues of the day and the other tables were occupied by families, couples and a male group. All very convivial. What's not to like.
