What a lovely hotel. I could not have been made more welcome, room was great and the breakfast was absolutely superb. Really interesting to be able to stay in an old school house, with all the history and the antiques that were literally floor to ceiling. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Just an amazing quirky venue with lovely hosts. The breakfast was simply outstanding. Truly exceptional. Had one of the rooms within the beautiful and eclectic home. The bathroom was excellent with shower and separate bath. Did a private browsing session of the antique shop and got a special chess set.

Delightful haven in a very pretty village! Brigitte and Andrew really looked after me on my 1 night whistle-stop stay. After driving with a large car trailer nearly 400 miles I was ready for a friendly face and some comfort. They delivered! Thank you.

Host contacted me to confirm my arrival time and to warn me that the pub wouldn't be serving food on a Sunday evening. I was given a very warm welcome on arrival (particularly by Monty one of the two labradors!) and an upgrade to a delightful room with an en-suite bathroom with both a roll-top slipper bath and a walk-in shower inside the main building. I was also offered a delicious bowl of curry and rice. The building is a former Victorian school, set on a pretty village green, and is chock-full of interesting objects, with also a wide range of antique and vintage items that are for sale. There are cosy nooks in which to sit and a pleasant dining room. Andrew is an excellent cook (he is a former chef), and Bridget runs the B&B and antiques business. They are generous hosts. I have never seen such a wide range of cereals on offer at breakfast.

A curio shop hosted by delightful people who were eclectic and had a great range of stock. Even if you don't buy anything it is great fun just to browse. Also do great bed and breakfasts.

Visited the antique centre attached to the B&B. Small place but some amazing things in there, so much lovely stuff.

Fantastic stay, lovely spacious room. Really appreciated the quirky eclectic decor in the public areas… a feast for your eyes. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at any hotel. Perfect hosts, would find an excuse to visit the area again. Check out the village pub… equally inviting.
