Absolutely exceptional ❤️ Best Chinese buffet in kings Lynn amazing food , lovely meal again tonight! Food was hot and fresh and lots of choices! Staff are attentive and friendly! Can’t wait for my next visit❤️❤️
I've been here multiple times as dine in and absolutely my favourite Chinese about! Always delicious, on this occasion for fathers day we decided to get a takeaway, as always the food is absolutely delicious and big portions and cannot fault it.
However I felt really bad for the delivery driver, as the management did not give him enough change to owe the customers the correct change, although this can be an issue for some I didn't mind as was happy for them to keep the extra as a tip since I knew the food would be great, but please in future make sure you give your drivers enough change so this doesn't happen too often as some customers may not be so willing.
Also I didn't get the delivery drivers name unfortunately, but he was so friendly and helpful good service.
First time visitors:
Pro's:
* Location (easy to find)
* Off road free parking
* Drink prices - acholic drink prices in particular where very reasonable
* Desert's - good selection, and option to have ice cream cones
* Food tasted and smelt lovely
Negatives:
* Poor selection of food, and what they did have ran out quickly
* Food was not clearly signed (not good if you have food intolerances)
* Not enough staff serving drinks or replenishing food
* No knifes on tables (only a spoon & fork each) - I was going to ask a member of staff for a knife, but could not find anyone to ask
In terms of price / value for money. We think it was good value & we both left with full stomachs
Would we return, not sure. However we would 100% return if there was a wider food choice available
Very friendly staff couldn't do enough for us. Delicious food all freshly cooked. Very reasonable price. We will be back. Lol. X
Didn't eat in, but had a superb takeaway. Delivery was spot on time and all the food was delicious, quite different from other Chinese in King's Lynn and compares with the best we have had since China Town in London. Will definitely use again.
I only ordered the sweet and sour chicken balls and egg fried rice, but it really was cooked very very well. I would definately reccommend it. To be honest I hadn't realised what the 'Royal Gourmet' was. I am sure they would have more customers if they indicated on the signs that the premises was a Chinese restaurant.
welcoming staff, great food. Prices have gone up quite a bit so only go here now as an extra treat.
The food here is delicious and the service very friendly. The only mark down is the age old issue of buffet restaurants marking up drink prices to make up their profits.
On the whole, I'm still really impressed.

Very good buffet, on the edge of town... we couldn't move afterwards, top tofu dish, very worth going to.
