In a very busy Sunday afternoon without a reservation they were so kind to manage finding a table for us and our children ( much appreciated, thank you)
Good food, warm atmosphere,
I highly recommend.
A warm welcome from the landlady as soon as we walked in. Such quick service, she couldnt do enoigh for us. The food was amazing for a last minute stop for us. I would definitely recommend this pub.

Popped in for a drink before heading to see Harry Potter.
The lady behind the bar was great, and even better they had my favourite cider on tap.

Great pub with really good traditional pub food, reasonably priced and very friendly atmosphere. 4 mins drive from Harry Potter experience and 2 mins walk from nearby BTBS book sale. All round great pub.
A lovely traditional pub, serving good pub food like ham , egg and chips . The landlady was very welcoming even when busy getting ready to open up . We enjoyed the homemade bread pudding with ice cream, just like my Nan used to make . Great service at the bar too.
