Gave four stars because I only had chips. If it had been on chips alone, it would be a solid 5. Perfectly cooked, crispy with fluffy middle. Big shop, probably had tables at one point: service was swift and polite. Gave a tip on service alone. If chips are an overall indicator of the quality of all the food, I would definitely make a point of going out of my way to go there. I live in Bedfordshire, so that's a bit far, but if I am on the M25 jct 20 and hungry, it's worth the detour.
Large chips, 2x sausage in batter, medium cod which was quite large about £17.50. Standard of fish was pretty good,moist,fresh, batter could be slightly crispier but enjoyable. Sausages were good, batter again could be crispier. Chips were good with plenty of salt n vinegar added, thanks. Would eat here again.
Update: not sure if new management, but the shop did take my contactless payment on request. The food was very good and I’m happy as it’s is my local chippy and I can now use them! Well done!
Tried to buy f+c but discovered they only take cash … in these times that’s crazy, went to Dolphin fish bar in Abbots Langley who took my card and were several £ better priced. It’s a shame but reading the recent reviews it’s hard to see how they can survive if they don’t move with the times, credit card machines are not expensive, but as someone new to the area they just lost repeat business…. Bit short sighted…
Had fish and chips x2 on Monday eve. Was best I had in years. Great batter thick. Cod and chips were amazing
.. Very clean safe. Lovely staff too and a amazing portion of tzazakiki garlic Greek mayonnaise. Amazing you can't beat it. Will go back excellent

This is one of the best fish and chip shops I've been to, even compared to cornwall and devon. The fish is cooked fresh in a nice light batter, chips are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. If you're ever in Kings Langley or nearby, it's well worth a visit.
Freshly cooked haddock and chips - the chips were crispy and hot even after I had walked back with them wrapped up. But I must say that is the most expensive Fish & Chip supper I have had, including sit down restaurants!
When I come and visit my aunty we always get fish n chips from here. It was really nice. This time we shared a fish and a small chips. Which was just perfect. Fish and batter had a lovely taste to it and the chips were great. Thankyou I will be back..
Quality food from here. Beautiful fish, and way too many chips! Even the 'small' portion of chips is massive.
I ordered fish only and the kind guys put me a few chips in any way.

Excellent food. Huge fish, fabulous turkish cabbage salad, chicken shish, etc. Spot on. Cash only, but cash point 2 doors down outside the post office. Chips are double cooked. Yum!
Fantastic chips. Love it. I feel like portions are getting smaller year after year. Still happy to get food from there.

Giant portions. Like seriously, piles of chips bigger than the boat the fish got caught on. A large easily feeds 3 people.
My only quarm is they don't do cones of chips. £2 is the cheapest portion.
You generally don't have to wait too long, there's outside parking, and a Spar 3 minutes down the road if you need beers 👌
Really nice fish bar best chip's we have had in a long time my granddaughter loved them .

Nice Cod Fish and chips. I always make a point of visiting whilst I'm in Hertfordshire. I must say though, that you people in King's Langley are paying 50% more for your fish and chips than us people in the Valeys of Wales.
Fast and efficient. Really yummy food! Only a 4min walk from the premier inn, great if you just want something quick and easy. Very good service too.
Quality fish, chips and kebabs. Simple, superbly executed menu. Don't take card, which is not ideal, food superb though. 👌
