Delicious food. Great service. Waitress made sure to inform us of dishes that have nuts as one of us is allergic to nuts. A bit on the expensive side.

A nice restaurant which offers Indian cuisine foods. It’s located in a prime area near port of Hull with a good outdoor arrangement. The entrance of the place overwhelmed me as there was a idol of Indian God. About food, it’s really amazing. Both quality & quantity is pretty good.
Highly recommend if you are visiting Hull & want to taste Indian cuisine.

Best paneer asparagus I ever had in a long time with a lot of chilli to flavor it. Hot green chilli.

Good service, professional waiters in matching attire. Great high ceiling venue with soft tone lighting (one bulb was flickering 😅). Food was exceptional, flavourfull and balanced - had lamb shank (nalli ghost), spicy but meat was fall-off-bone tender and juicy.

Pretty good! Our group had the tasting menu. We were accommodated well in the upstairs event room.
Overall the food was good: 4 courses of the vegetarian menu were exceptional, the rest were a bit average and we were served a block of paneer in 2 dishes, hence just missing out on 5 stars on this occasion.
Would definitely come back to try the á la carte menu though.

Party of 4 plus a tiny one we visited on a Monday lunch. It was very quiet with only one other table of 2 eating.
As is always the case my first choice wasn't available. It happens everywhere I go. So started with 3 very small scallops.
All of the food was very tasty but you need the sides to make up the meal. The desert menu had recommended wines to accompany but they didn't have them available.
The service was very efficient, smiley and friendly.
I don't like loud music when eating but here couldn't hear any. With a large empty restaurant it needed something to lift the atmosphere.
Would I go again? Probably but it would have to be a special occasion or treat.

Exquisite food and vibrant atmosphere. The place boasts of Michelin 2020, and has a relatively small menu. It’s on the pricier side, but the quality of the food is good. I wanted to enjoy a seafood 🦞 main course as curry 🍛 but none of the seafood main-courses were curry. The laalmans was beautifully flavoured but the meat was dry and shredded. The Gilaafi kabab was brilliant though.

Had afternoon lunch there, off the lunchtime menu. They may have been small tasting portions BUT they we're packed FULL of flavour. Well worth a visit. What it's like in the evening I don't know sorry.

We love our lunchtime Thali at Tapasya. Lovely selection of foods, which include starter, mains, naan bread and a dessert. A meat free option, too. A bit like a taster menu. Always absolutely delicious. Always very attentive staff. It's a huge restaurant with an upstairs gallery full of seating, too. Lunchtimes tend to not be too busy - at least the times we've visited. That doesn't detract from the dining experience. A beautiful restaurant very nicely furnished and set out. Mixed selection of 2, 4 and more settings. Bench seating as well as chairs.
Lovely bar area fully stocked with an array of beverages.
Open kitchen so you can see the chefs busy at their craft if inclined.
Disabled toilet on the ground floor. Very nice toilet facilities upstairs for all other diners.
Parking is available on street (if you're lucky) and there's a pay & display across the way from the restaurant.

Really nice Indian restaurant. Different mention to what you may expect, with presentation much improved from the typical "curry with rice". I opted for the tasting menu, which seemed the best way of seeing what the restaurant has to offer.

Fantastic food and excellent staff. Went for my Birthday dinner and first time ever I loved Indian food in a restaurant that tasted so authentic. The staff were all so lovely, and loved how spacious and well decorated the place was. Tapasya will certainly be our go-to-restaurant for every special occasion from now on !

Tapasya is not your run off the mill Indian restaurant. When you walk in you wouldn't think that it was an Indian restaurant. You'd probably think it was a modern British restaurant. The fact that it is halal is s bonus for me. The service and waiting staff were excellent.
The food was exceptional. Highly recommend this place. The presentation of the food on the plate was like art on a plate!

A smooth and sophisticated take on Indian food in the UK.
We had lunch here on a sunny Saturday in November and were unsure if we would enjoy a midday Indian. We needn't have worried!
There was a limited but tasty lunch menu that catered for carnivores, vegetarians and those needing gluten free. The setting was very slick and the service was great.
Best if all, the price was just under £10 per person, so came in under £30 for two , including drinks and service..
Would thoroughly recommend Tapasya for lunch and would love to return for dinner sometime.

Excellent Indian cuisine elevated to fine dining standards! Simply the place to go to when you are at the Hull’s marina and want to enjoy an authentic Asian meal!

The food, the wine, the atmosphere, the staff - absolutely amazing.
Without any doubt the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to.
The staff were so polite, attentive, helpful and provided the most wonderful service.
The food was simply out of this world.
We could not fault this place if we wanted to.
We'll definitely be back!

I have to say on of the best resturants around here, fresh products ,cooked meals from scratch ,flavours exploding in your mouth with every bite. The service is 10 out of 10 and the desert was to die for I can't fault it in any aspect. And I have to add I love food and cooking so I am very picky where I eat.

Group of four of us went for food on Christmas Eve - the meal was absolutely perfect.. the restaurant itself is really smart, the staff are really helpful and the food was delicious. There was nothing vegan on the menu, but they were more than happy to make me a starter and main, both of which were so tasty.. they said the chef likes a challenge and were really willing to accommodate my requirements. Everyone loved their food, and we will definitely be going back!

I would love to give Tapasaya a higher rating however the service isn’t as good as the food. The food is absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed it. Downside would be the seating, sat in the middle of an aisle and everyone squeezing past you and I mean it’s the only way to go. My husband felt really uncomfortable. We were also waiting a long time for drinks to be brought to us our starters came before the drinks, which they got wrong also.It was all a bit here there and everywhere, even bringing out our food they all seemed like they were struggling When you pay £91 for two people to eat ,you except a service to match their prices.

We had a lovely meal here last night with family and friends. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is absolutey superb. The food was delicious and the passion fruit mojito is a must

Went here last night, for me and my husbands anniversary, the place looks very nice, I'm not a great fan of indian food, but thought i would try. The starter was deep fried haddock strips with like a garlic yogurt sauce, which was nice, but the main was a bit of a let down as i wanted the tandori chicken, but when asked if it was breast they said on the bone, which i didnt fancy, so went for the chicken masala, like alot of people have said the sauce was just like tomatoe soup, but was nice, although the chicken did put me off a little as it wasnt breast, it was thigh and looked horrible and brown in places! However my husbands main was the tiger prawn dish, and thought he was going to get an awesome meal, when they came with it, it was a rectangle plate with 3 tiger prawns his face was a picture.....so he finished off mine. We looked at the deserts and was nothing that really stood out at us! So decided to pay and go. The non alcoholic cocktails where nice, but very thick and sickly and that itself could have been a pudding. Not really sure i'd eat there again but you have to try these things.

Visited this afternoon for the first time. Absolutely stunning food and great service. Lovely relaxed atmosphere too. Will definitely come again! Although we ate from the main menu, the set menu looked great value

Had a really great lunch at TapasyaMarina for my husband's birthday. The thali style lunch was delicious with lots of interesting dishes including a black Dahl which was fantastic. Lovely Indian rice pudding for dessert too! Good value, friendly staff and will definitely return.

Don't waste your money, supermarket curries are much better! Chikhen was just bones hardly any meat on it, tasteless. Smallest menu I've ever seen in a supposedly Indian restaurant. You can't even order a curry?

Random walk in, first night back in Hull cool venue very good service & very good food. Cool approach to indian food. Top job thanks
