Very popular, we rung ahead for a table. Greeted warmley, simple menu plenty of choice, even gluten free cake. Service, food and drink excellent value for your money. And given information about the lakes you can walk around. Highly recommend and sure to visit again.

Went here for my cousins baby shower for afternoon tea. I'm lactose intolerance and my cousin is gluten free we were certainly catered for. For £15 we got our own stands full of goodies and unlimited tea and coffee. We didn't finish any of the stands and took plenty home. Lovely food and people
Lovely tea room. Offering anything from afternoon tea to lunches, even all day breakfasts. Managed to get a table even though very busy (advise to book in advance). Lovely food,friendly staff. Didn't have room for desert so took some cakes back with us. Definitely worth a visit. Will definitely try

Went for an afternoon tea with my wife, because we are celebrating just getting married and my birthday. The afternoon was amazing all the food was freshly homemade, it reminded my of birthday teas at home growing up with my parents. They then surprised me we a slice of chocolate cake on a birthday
Lovely lunch. Had the ploughman's lunch plenty of food which was delicious. Staff really helpful and pleasant. Would definitely recommend it . Afternoon tea looked lovely. Will visit again soon.

Popped in today for the first time with my mum and daughter, intended on having cake but the meals looked so good we decided to have lunch. We were not disappointed. Will definitely return.
An unpretentious building and off the beaten track. But well worth a visit. Friendly, welcoming staff serving excellent food at very reasonable prices.
We had 4 afternoon tea’s, it was brought out straight away, food was excellent and great value for money. Staff were really friendly, would definitely go again!
Really nice place. Excellent food, excellent staff, excellent service. A little off the beaten track, but well worth a trip. Four of us went Friday lunchtime; all had different meals, all four of us were delighted. Will be back again soon.
Great food friendly staff and lovely Tea Room This is the 3rd time iv been and its always great the choice is really good and so much to chose from and the cakes are to die for well worth the country drive a lively time spent here with my friend
