Excellent homemade food and great selection of drinks, good size portions of quality food. We have visited here a couple of times, both times consistantly excellent. Great value and good choice. Only small downside for us is the pub is not dog friendly, but we will still be visiting without the pooc

As recommended by Holderness Country Park where we stayed and they were right lovely pub, atmosphere and food to die for Rib Eye best I've ever had and I'm a butcher 34 years experience fantastic.

Quite simply one of my favourite places to eat - the burger that they do is incredible and they change it every now and then too - the Sunday dinners aren’t your average Sunday dinners either - this place is definitely worth travelling to

Fabulous meal. Very quiet when we arrived, Saturday mid afternoon which is ridiculous as the service and quality of food was excellent. Found by accident but a very happy one.

Had lunch today, good choice on menu. Food very good. Wild mushroom strogonoff best I have had for a long time and gingerbread with toffee sauce and rhubarb ice cream delicious. Chicken schnitzel very tasty. Nice atmosphere with lit candles on all tables. Definately recommend. Thank you.
Fantastic meal. We ate for steak night, and they sorted a dairy free meal for our Allergic toddler. They were very welcoming.
