Traditional old worldy pub, beers bang on, no funny pints here. Use the place regularly. No loud music during afternoons, easy to chat and have conversations. Never eaten here so I can't comment.
Lovely little old English pub bursting with history and atmosphere. Friendly staff and punters. Excellent service and reasonably priced drinks. Could spend all night in here. It's apparent that the manager takes great pride in this place.

A fantastic boozer. Original features, decent real ale and rugby league in the telly. I spent years going round the old town and had never even heard of this place. It's now a must visit.
Love the old traditional pubs needs a bit of music
Barmaid too busy talking to customers to serve drinks. Stood at bar for at least 5 minutes before Barmaid acknowledged we were at bar. Won't be going again!!!!!
Great pub. Dogs welcome. Friendly staff made us really welcome. Beer Great at a good price too. I would 100 percent recommend.
