If you’re in the old town, this bar is definitely worth going in. Always great atmosphere, with good music. Staff are also really friendly. My wife lost her phone whilst inside and they ensured the safe return the next day. Very trustworthy.
First time here, had Sunday lunch. Brisket and Lamb absolutely stunning. Every vegetable perfectly cooked and delicious. Yorkshire pudding huge! Gravy amazing. Small plates very tasty, calamari great but halloumi the best I've ever eaten. Fresh bread, terrific skin on chips. See photos. Brilliant ca
Always love it in here but it gets pretty crowded... this never stops me and the music is great 💃🍻
Do not serve food, was busy, it was a sat night. Very hot inside.
Fantastic venue, great music, felt very safe, customer service, is the best. a must place to go in, on a night out in Hull old town. We love the place.
Spot on pub grub well worth your hard earnt cash great portions Yorkshire sharing platter with side of pigs in blankets sorted
Reasonably fast service and reasonably priced drinks. The menu included a number of popular beers as to be expected but also a nice variety of gins and other less common drinks. Outside sitting area at the back of the bar was well decorated with a nice atmosphere and had a few large table umbrellas
Was nice atmosphere was a bit flat but we were the only people there so I'm guessing that was our fault, nice and clean and the beer was nice
Came here on Mothers Day, the quality of food is excellent, both the pies on the sunday roast. The pies was absolutely spot on and the price for the meals was great, especially for what you got! Would definitely come back for food. Customer Service is also way up to standard, the only fault is that
Lovely little place. Staff friendly and attentive. We ordered 3 small meals.. I had roast cauliflower, bacon and cheese, herby potatoes and halumi deep fried all served in a little pan placed on a board with bread, butter. I will definitely go again.. the burgers are homemade and I would love to try
The small plates were delicious, Halloumi bits and garlic mushrooms my favourites but the Gnocchi potatoes and the soup of the day get great comments from the rest of the group. Three real ales. Great staff. The food is amazing.
Great little pub near to everything you'd visit. Prices are more than reasonable and the food is classic and spot on. The atmosphere is great on an evening and on a lunch time. Order anything and you can't go wrong. Highly recommended.
An enjoyable Sunday lunch here. Roast beef tasty and tender vegetables nicely cooked. The pies looked very nice and meaty it was a hard job deciding what to try from the menu.
The menu was great, the food was even better!!
I'm not much of a pie person but my partner is so we went in and I have to say I have never had a nicer meal the pies were brilliant and I cannot fault the service. 10/10 would go again next time I'm in Hull!
