Recently had a family christening at the oak and Luke and his staff did a first class job looking after us all. Luke catered for 50 people, including 2 gluten free and 10 children. Everyone went away happy. Many thanks Luke with special thanks to Sue and Laura who worked very hard keeping us all fed and watered. Highly recommended friendly venue.
Pizzas are fantastic and well worth going for - not your average pepperoni or ham and pineapple more chorizo, and parma ham style. Side portions of chips are huge. Limited other meals but Specials aswell. Lovely pub, well worth a visit.

I wondered where we could go for a stroll, and a drink on a Bank Holiday Monday, that wasn't too far from home.
Good prices, and nice views across the Humber.
Friendly staff.
Recommended.
Great little pub with a nice atmosphere.
Basic food but nice and reasonably priced.
Will visit again.
I ordered food via food hub, and there was an error on food hub to which i gave a 1 star thinking it was to do with The Royal Oak.
Paul phoned and could not apologize enough, so i tried on food hub to remove my star rating and it could not be done, so i have come here to say. I would recommend The Royal Oak, and to thank Paul for being so nice to say sorry he didn't need to, very professional and i will deffo be going to eat here in the summer. Thank you Paul
Friendly folk, great atmosphere, have a large seating/ smoking area at the back which looks out onto the Humber, delicious food, just need a few more seats in the back room and a few stools in the pool room. Have all sorts going on including live bands.
Excellent prices Sunday lunch looks good
£3.00 for a pint of hobgoblin gold
Just had a LOVELY Sunday lunch here . A choice of turkey, gammon, or beef, and a choice of serving size. I chose small and it was more than enough. 6 kinds of veg, and gravy were put out in bain Marie's ...
Five veg AND roast and boiled potatoes so you can choose exactly how much you want have
A good sized Yorkshire pudding even with the small plate and LASHINGS of gravy (just help yourself) top marks from me :)
Really friendly landlord/landlady running a quality traditional pub with views across the river, lovely food and drink at reasonable prices, spotlessly clean and warm, best pub for miles imo, a credit to the brewery!
We found this pub as we explored the area. Very friendly and we had a lovely meal.
Fantastic food. Amazing staff. Great atmosphere. Very cheap too. 100% recommend.
Absolutely lovely place. The pizzas were amazing, the staff and the customers were all so welcoming. Can't wait to return👌
